Yes, All of the phone service configure themselves once you land on the island. Please be careful about brining your own phone without knowing the extra fees. The last time I was there, I almost feel over once I realized the charges. It's cheaper to purchase a phone from Jamaica for $ 50.00 US..and to use phone cards than to use your own phone....take the advice or not...have a good time,

you can get a digicel phone here for under $50 u.s. purchase $1000Ja credit this will give you unlimited calls back home to the us or wherever, then just add $100Ja to make local call.

its about $71ja - $1u.s dollar

Be careful using your own phone. I was with Sprint. I took my phone with me and called my family and friends back home and when I returned to the states, my phone bill was $600US dollars. It was $1.99 per minute for roaming charges. Buy a phone in Jamaica for about $50US and keep a phone card on it. It is alot cheaper in the long run.

Be careful with the phone. I do not want to see you spend all the extra money for nothing.
