Is Gummy Bears made out of cow bones and goat feet?

My weird cousin told me this she doesnt eat them cause shes a vegiterian and i told her it wasnt meat but she said she wont eat anyhting with a face on it or anything that has come from an animal besides milk, she wont even eat animal crackers jeez.. anyway, i just wanted to know if this was true

yes, Gelatin is in gummy bears and most of those chewy candies. Gelatin is made up of ground up animal bones and skins. It's also in marshmallows....however there is no reason for her not to eat animal crackers because those don't contain meat or animal by-product.

The traditional Gummi Bear is made from sugar, glucose syrup, starch, flavouring, food coloring, citric acid, and gelatin.
Gummi bears made with either bovine or porcine gelatine are not suitable for vegetarians and do not conform to kashrut or halal dietary laws. Those made with bovine gelatine are not suitable for Hindus.

Most gummy bears are non-vegan because they contain gelatine which is derived from animals

Many brands of animal crackers contain Shortening and Whey, both of which are derived from animals.

However, some animal crackers contain Vegetable Shortening and Whey and so are suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.

Gelatin is in most chewy sweets and marshmallows. Its made from crushed animal bones. Vegetarians dont eat flesh, gelatine or rennet. Its not just 'meat'
