Does *67 cost any money when you are using an AT&T cellphone?
My dad says calling someone by using *67 costs money.
EXAMPLE: *67(555)555-5555
its when you are a "private caller".
ALSO:
How do you check how many text messages you have left of your plan with AT&T? Like, I got the 200 text messages plan and I need to know if I went over me limit.
Additional Details
I also have the Razor, but I don't know which kind. I hope this helps.

hey cutie you can use *67 it doesnt charge .. but doesnt always work either! You can go into you phone settings and change it from sent my number to dont send and will show as private!
Also the way to check your messages is dial *DATA# and talk. You will get a free message telling you approx how many messages are left or how much you went over but keep in mind its about 24-48 hrs behind.

- Thanks. This will help me in future references, but I tried it and when I got the text message back it said this: "This information is not available until your next bill cycle." Did I do something wrong? I also didn't say anything it just sent the message right away. Please email me back.

To check your text messages, you can dial *DATA# from your phone (it will send you a free text message that will tell you how many messages you have left on your phone).
Otherwise, you can go online to www.wireless.att.com & choose Unbilled Data Details to see how many messages you've used & how many you have left.

None of att's "star" services cost anything, so therefore it is free.
