Why US more concern about DS Anwar SODOMY case rather than Altantua MURDER case ?

First of all if you read the Pakatan media you probably think that the world is now looking down on Malaysia because we put a “murderer” in the highest office. You probably read about how they are now labelling us as a pariah state. The pakatan bloggers then chipped in and aired their shame of being Malaysian because 15 international publication had printed the Najib Altantuya story. From the intonation of these blogs you got the idea that anytime now malaysian will be slapped with sanctions as severe as the one put on North Korea,Cuba and Iran. To be honest with you no one really cared about the Altantuya case except maybe a few Mongolians. It’s a sad thing when a death of a human being is largely ignored. Just look at the recent press conference between Anifah Aman and Hillary Clinton. The reporters didn’t even ask a question regarding Altantuya.Anifah just melatah abit resulting in him blurting the Altantuya name. They Americans were actually more concerned about the Anwar’s sodomy case. Yes sirree. A sodomy case is more important than a murder case. That’s kinda fucked up is it? But this is America, gay rights is a thornier issue than war in iraq and affirmative action. If you are in support of the troops it's ay okay to you.

altan is nobody she's just a mistress, there are so many other people who is more important than her get murdered in the world everyday, if every newspaper give attention to it, they don't have enough space it publish it

DSAI is different, he is the only person who can topple the 50 years corrupted government, they want to see how our goverment get rid of the competitor legally, this is sure to be a huge world wide big news

It is just that if Anwar becomes the PM of Malaysia, it can have very important consequences for US-Malaysia relationship....so the focus on the sodomy case....

Thats actually a very good question. I guess people feel that the Althantuya issue has passed. Any evidence is probably being held in safe keeping to be used for blackmail or just buried away as an act of friendship. But Anwar's sodomy case is completely fabricated and 2 hospitals have confirmed that it probably didnt happen. So its not about gay rights but injustice towards a political figure. Who, incidently is a close friend of the Vice President of the US Joe Biden

Well your question exposes all that is wrong with Malaysia right now and why it is on a downward slope...

The focus on the sodomy case is because outside Malaysia we all know its a completely false case brought against Anwar for purely political reasons. We regard him as the best hope for Malaysia because he has a liberal agenda designed to correct some of the reasons why Malaysia is regarded as soooo backwards by the rest of us. Malaysia has gone backwards a long way in the last 10 years and now is the source of funding for the criminals who carry out attacks in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Malaysia needs to be very careful for the future, it cannot go on acting like it does now, it no longer has Britain to protect it. It is alone and is the enemy of all the countries surrounding it, all of whom are much bigger.

So its time for the Malaysian people to stand up and say ENOUGH and cast off the shackles of racist and religionist government. The fact that Malaysia has a murderer in charge is just further proof of how sick Malaysia is. And Malaysian business is run by the "Mafia" you guys need to save your own country before you start posturing on others.

Part of the problem is that Malaysia only exists because it was carved out of Nusantara by the English. If you want to live in a greater Nusantara it will not be by trying to dominate the region, you are way too small for that. It will be by co-operation and the dismissal of the Sultans and the loony religionists from Malaysian government

My honest opinion. My family have a connection with Malaysia dating back to 1926 and I have Malaysian cousins, but I wouldn't want to go there right now. Its sick and I prefer to boycott
