Malaysian entering Netherlands?

I read somewhere that b4 entering netherlands, they will check proof of sufficient funds and a return airline ticket. Is it true? How do they check proof of sufficient fund? Do i need to bring my bank statement?

Hi Elyssa. It depending on how long are you going to stay here. If the stay period is more than 3 months, than you need to do some paper work. If not, just use normal procedure, only prepare your passport.

It will only be 3 days, so there s no need to bring my bank statemt
Do double check on the website of the Dutch embassy or consulate, as I do think you may need to proof the money and return ticket upon arrival. In any case, nothing wrong when you have that statement but do not need it, it will be bad if you are caught without when you do need it.
