birth is a wonderful experience. (my baby is 6 months old) i had an epidural and i couldn't feel anything at all no pain just pressure, like your taking a really big poop.
the doctors were all very nice, (a woman getting ready to give birth is not someone you want to upset) the worst part of giving birth for me was when they pushed on my stomach to get all the extra blood and baby goo out. is was really not that bad. and i hope to do it again someday.
and the pain compared to what i got out of it was way worth it. if i had to do it all over again i would and not regret a second of it.

I didn't get an epidural until I was 6cm dialated (you have to get to 10 to give birth). By the time I asked for the epidural, I was in a warm bath, trying not to think of the pain, but blabbering some incoherent words and not making sense. That's when my husband said "We should probably get the epidural." After I got the epidural, it was AMAZING. I was actually able to enjoy the rest of it, believe it or not! My legs were pretty much numb, so I had to lift them to push and all that, but I didn't feel a thing, just pressure.

having a child does hurt! my little girl was 9lb and im only really small. although it hurts at the time its amazing that the second the baby is out and you see him or her you forget about the pain. 5 min after my baby was born i was telling everyone it was easy and i was having some more lol ! ps my contractions hurt more than pushing her out

i did not get to the actual 'out' part, but had my first one all natural. they hook you up to a monitor for your contractions. if you pay attention, breath when u r supposed to, it does not hurt. don't get me wrong they hurt bad if you don't breath proper! but do your breathing. the pre pushing didn't hurt i got all the way up to my son crowning then emergency c-section. hope this helps!

im not a mom but i watch tv and my mom have my little brother and so yea. It looks like it hurts when they have to push. The doctors ask them to take deep breathes and keep pushing. And yes it depends on the size of the baby. The average baby is about 7lbs so yea thats all i got. Best answer??

1 Yes it does hurt. It was more of a bearable pain though and having an Epidural, i can't comment too much on the last of my contraction's. For pushing though, that was the worst bit. I'm gladly doing it all again in the next few day's :)

Yeah, it hurts like crazy, but it is worth every bit of pain when you see your baby. It's amazing. You have to experience it to understand.
