Universal Studios Singapore :)?

Question

I'm planning for a holiday to Universal Studios Singapore. We are from KL and will be taking a flight there. I have a few questions :-

1- What's the best yet reasonable hotel there? Traveling with kids.

2- How do we get to Singapore Night Zoo? can we get there by MRT?

Hello, good to know you are planning to visit. I live in Singapore and I haven't even gone to Universal Studios. Anyway

1. Best yet reasonable - Affordable? Kids-friendly? Near shopping malls? You will be comfortable at hotels along the Orchard Road strip. Eg. Royal Plaza on Scotts, Grand Hyatt, The Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons etc.

2. You mean the Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo. It's at Mandai Road, the nearest MRT station is Kranji, and there will be a shuttle that takes you to the zoo from there. Also, you can take a bus from Woodlands MRT/Bus Interchange.

If you could afford S$300 for a double-bed room, the best hotels is in Resorts World Sentosa Integrated Resort. You could choose from Hotel Michael, Hard Rock Hotel and Festive Hotel. Based on your hotel location, you can go to Ang Mo Kio or Woodlands and then take a bus. Bus journey is quite fast and drops you just at the doors..
