  • I appear on my parent's 1095-A, but they can't claim me as a dependent this year. How do I do this?

If your parents claimed you in 2014 when they first applied and you were a dependent then, then their 1095-A is correct and they can use it for their tax return. However, if you moved out of the house in 2014 and were not just away going to college, they should of reported a change to marketplace insurance and taken you off the policy. ..then you... show more

We had to call and take our son off when he moved out and then he could apply for his own. It probably costs a lot more without you on it...at least ours did cuz our family size went down and they figure it differently. Your parents are committing fraud if they are claiming you and you are not a dependent. Can you talk to them about it? Or call marketplace and ask them what to do.

  • If I live in PA, and inherit money from an Aunt in Texas, do I owe PA Inheritance Tax?

No! Inheritance money is not taxed! The estate is suppose to pay the taxes. We have received inheritance money from different states through the years too. Talk to the Executor of your aunt's will and see what they say.

  • My emerald card online account says I have recieved my refund. Why did Dollar Gen and atm deny me?

Best answer: They put a freeze on all the Emerald cards today because there was a screw up and a lot of people were getting double the amount of money for their refund than they were suppose to get. They were going to fix the problem in 2-4 hours but apparently it is not fixed yet. Hopefully tomorrow cuz a lot of people were upset! show more
