• I'm writing a short story and the characters are on a boat. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about boats or yachts, or sea common sense.?

Are there warnings before a storm hits? How are communication devices on a 35 meter yacht? What are general things that most sea faring individuals will know for certain? Anything that should be known by the characters, or the captain that they brought with to navigate?

  • My puppy keeps biting and growling at my 5 year old son.?

My husband and I just recently got a Doberman puppy. We went online to find a puppy and found some that were available. My husband and I just recently got a Doberman puppy. We went online to find a puppy and found some that were available. The woman we spoke to said the puppies were 7 weeks old, and she was already selling them. This kind of put my husband and I off, and we asked if we could buy the puppy, then keep it with the mom for a few more weeks, she said they had already separated the mom and the puppies, so we said to forget about it. We drove two hours for the woman to meet us. When we arrived, the woman confided with us that they had actually taken the puppies from the mother at three weeks. THREE FREAKING WEEKS. At this point, we were skeptical to get one of the puppies, but we ended up buying one anyways, despite our reservations. (Note to self, ignore the big brown eyes and think twice next time) Unfortunately, directly after that, the problems started. Potty training seems to be going well enough, and I've been able to teach him that he is not allowed in the kitchen at all. We noticed he nipped, A LOT, but figured it wouldn't be a problem, as my husband has had dogs all his life and had been able to break the biting habit before. We were wrong. Loki does not nip me, when he does, it's easy to stop the behavior. He does not do it to my husband either. No, he bites and GROWLS at my son. I need help, If this dog does not stop, I will get rid of it. I will not have a dog that is potentially dangerous in the same house as my son. Getting rid of it will break my sons heart. HELP
