• Men: My boyfriend desires a threesome with another woman, but wouldn't allow me one with another man?

The topic of threesomes came up and my boyfriend and I discussed it, and being that psychology interests me, I wanted to see how he'd react; which wasn't surprising.... I was honestly just curious of his take on the subject, so I randomly brought up this proposition to see how he'd react: I told him that I was completely fine with him having a threesome with another woman of his choice, but as long as I'd be able to choose a man of my choice. Of course, he immediately backed out because he said that would make him uncomfortable. Apparently the idea of me being with another man would make him uncomfortable, but the idea of him being with another woman is fine. He said it isn't jealousy, nor is it anything concerning "homophobia", but then what is it? Seriously, what kind of double-standard crap is this? Lol I'm interested in the male perspective regarding this topic, or girlfriend's boyfriends.

  • What's going on with this guy? (Men, I'd appreciate your take on this.)?

I met this guy named Justin not too long ago, and he's really confusing the heck out of me. We seemed to be pretty good friends for a couple weeks. We made plans to go out to eat, and we went to the movies together. He's a complete gentlemen; he always pays for everything, but of course I always offer. We made plans to go out to eat, and we went to the movies together. He's a complete gentlemen; he always pays for everything, but of course I always offer. Often he would tell me how beautiful I am and what he thought about me. Anyway, about a week ago, he asked me, over a text-message, how I viewed him. I admitted that I liked him, then he proceeded to tell me how he thought of me as more than a friend for "SO many reasons". So, not too long after he said he wanted me to come over to his place so we could hang out, or whatever. He also mentioned that he wanted to "cuddle" with me; which I knew would've eventually lead to sex, but I decided to head over to his place anyway. We did end up having sex, and I was probably at his place for a good 10 hours before we both finally got up because we both had things to do later that day. He didn't text me for a while until Easter, and he apologized because he said he had things going on with his family, then he even made plans with me to meet-up for lunch, but unfortunately, he couldn't make it for whatever reason; which is pretty strange because he almost never skipped-out on meeting with me. He did apologize, however. Anyway, apologies for the long story, but I just want to know-- What's going on with him?

  • How can I immediately pick myself back up?

I'm generally a very kind, caring, calm person. I love to make people laugh, and of course I love making others happy. Unfortunately, there always has to be an antagonist, right? My grandmother has a way of just shooting me down and destroying my mood. I don't know how she does it, but she's able to do it everyday. She'll criticize my appearance, patronizes me; which is the most insulting thing a person can do to me, brings back the past that I try everyday to forget, and treats me like the slave of the house. I hate that my mood is easily affected by her, but I can't help it. Is there any simple way I can just pick myself back up? What do you do when you're usually feeling a little down?
