i can't stand talking about, and especially seeing pictures of, the human heart. I get so queasy if I see a picture of one or any part of it and I hate to even think about it. Brain, skull and lungs (tough for me even to type those words or look at them) have the same effect on me but to a milder degree. Is it normal to be completely grossed out by these? I walked into my health class once and we take notes via a large projecter screen at the front of the room, I saw a 3D rendering of a heart on it about six feet high and immediately walked back out again. I had to listen to my iPod while the teacher was talking about aortas, ventricles and whatnot. Am I alone in feeling grossed out? What's strange too is that I used to be a really morbid writer so I was all into blood and guts. Now I can't stand to look at a human heart or look at the words "brain," "skull," or "lungs" (and my stomach is turning as I type them).
