I stumbled across this movie on TV when I was younger. I think it was around the time that the first Naked Gun movie was made, although I'm not sure when the movie in question was actually created.
It was originally an action/spy movie that was most likely of Japanese origin and was obviously influenced by the James Bond. It was already cheesy to begin with, however, the entire movie was liberally dubbed into a hilarious comedy.
One scene that stands out was when a hair became stuck on the 35mm film. A silhouette of a hand comes into view (as if in the projector room) to try and get the hair out while the film is running. A silhouette of a female hand enters the frame after the film reel is stopped and an affair/romantic encounter occurs between the couple who are supposedly in the projector room (without any dialogue if I remember correctly). The movie then resumes afterwards.
This has been driving me crazy for years. Any help regarding what movie this was would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
