• Would the first cell be able to form with oxygen present in the atmosphere? Why or why not?

Or would the oxygen keep it from forming? Why or why not? Please do not just give me a "yes" or "no" answer. Please answer the "why" question as well. Please list sources as well (preferably sources I can find, like a book or a website).

  • What are some times when history did not repeat itself?

History repeats itself. This is a known fact. You can often tell where a country is headed by looking at other countries in the past that do similar things as that country. But has there ever been a time when the exact opposite of the norm has happened? When someone saw what was going on and rose up to combat it, and actually succeeded?

  • I want to study paganism. Where should I start?

I enjoy doing in-depth studies on other religions and worldveiws, and paganism is next on my list. I have no idea where to start, so any pointers? Also, if you're a pagan, and you would like to tell me some about what you believe, I'm all ears.

I'm not taking any sides on this topic right now, I'm just hoping to see what both sides have to say. This is your chance to say what you think and why. You're perfectly welcome to make fun of and insult the other side if you really want to, but keep in mind that if you do this without a reason you tend to sound like a blubblering idiot and no one will want to listen to you. Go ahead and prove the other side wrong, but I advise being polite while doing so. Also, if there is some other side to this arguement, other than Evolution and Intelligent design, I am fascinated and would love to hear it.
