Does a young kid have to live near where a Premier League club is based to be scouted into their academy?
for example, if a boy is playing Under 8 sunday league football, does he have to live in/around Greater Manchester to get scouted to play for the Man U or Man City academies?
can a young kid from, say, Essex get scouted to play for the Man U academy? or would he have to relocate?
I know foreigners and older players can be recruited.

Why don’t Barça just let Messi leave?
Regardless of how much money he generates for Barça and la Liga if he stays against his will they’re gonna be paying monster wages for a player that has potentially kicked his last ball for them. A player that does not want to be there. Do they honestly think they’re gonna get the same Messi this season as what they had since he started??
Surely if they make him stay he’ll just refuse to train/play which will lead to them terminating his contract anyway.
In my opinion if they make him stay they’re will be a much darker cloud hanging over the club than there all ready is, which may have a serious impact on the manger and the rest of the squad.
There potentially going to be paying 1 million euros plus, every week for a player that won’t even be sitting in the stands let alone in starting line up.

a) Arsenal
b) Chelsea
c) Man United
d) Tottenham

any of these clubs capable of winning the league this year folks ?
Am I underestimating ourselves ?
I just don't think we'll be able to repeat what we did last season folks...
last two seasons must have taken everything out of the boys, surely they can't keep up this intensity for a third season running ?
The manner in which we played last season and beat teams was exceptional and worthy of winning the league in any country. It was that reason people were calling us the best team in the world, cos of the style of our play and manner of our wins.
thoughts ?
