Best answer: You can't put all or even most of the blame on people who were born between 1946 and 1964. LBJ's 'Great Society' with its invention of Medicare, and a Congress that started taking money from the Social Security trust fund and leaving behind IOUs began before a majority of Boomers could even vote. Boomers were still joiners. The generations since are not joiners, they are the ones more into themselves. Therefore, fraternal organizations such as Moose, Elks and others are dying out. In my city, which was once one of the bowling Meccas in the US, 80% of the bowling alleys that once existed are gone. Almost everybody, it seemed, was in at least one bowling league. There were softball leagues everywhere. Most boomers are too old for softball, and many would still bowl except for the fact that not enough of the following generations participated in a way that would keep the neighborhood bowling halls open.

Leftist philosophy has created in more and more people the notion that it's government's job to provide for them, not their own. On one hand, you praise the 'Greatest Generation' but on the other, your generation rejects most of the values of that generation.

Technology also plays a HUGE part, especially with the sense of alienation it can cause. People hide behind blue faces, as just one example. Not many Boomers doing that.

I go to church and I see more Boomers than any other demographic. My city once had hundreds of Catholic churches and literally dozens of parishes. Today, parishes have either disappeared or been forced to combine with others to keep going, and probably half of the churches and associated elementary schools have closed. Four of the once-large Catholic high schools are gone. People don't join with other people anymore, they congregate online.

Best answer: Consider what John writes in chapter 1, verse 18: No man has seen (Almighty) God at any time.
However, humans have seen Jesus, the Son, for John says: The Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory. John 1:14, KJ

How, then, could the Son be part of Almighty God? John also states that the Word was with God.

But how can an individual be with someone and at the same time be that person?

Moreover, as recorded at John 17:3, Jesus makes a clear distinction between himself and his heavenly Father. He calls his Father the only true God.

And toward the end of his Gospel, John sums up matters by saying: These have been written down that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God. John 20:31

Notice that Jesus is called, not God, but the Son of God.

Best answer: Noah faced a gigantic task. This ark was to be enormous—some 437 feet (133 m) long, 73 feet (22 m) wide, and 44 feet (13 m) tall. It was far larger than the largest seagoing wooden ships built even in modern times. Did Noah back off from this assignment, complain about its challenges, or alter the details to make it easier on himself? The Bible answers: “Noah proceeded to do according to all that God had commanded him. He did just so.”—Genesis 6:22.
The work took decades, perhaps 40 to 50 years. There were trees to fell, logs to haul, and beams to hew, shape, and join. The ark was to have three stories, or decks, a number of compartments, and a door in the side. Evidently, there were windows along the top, as well as a roof that likely peaked in the middle with a slight pitch so that water would run off.—Genesis 6:14-16.
Think on the fact that there were no sawmills logging machines or any of the equipment we have today, it was a massive task and Noah also warned what was to occur; one can only imagine the hostility, scoffing, derision and being laughed at every day of the 40-50 years that the Ark was being worked on; a bit like today, see Mt 24:37-39, the ''good news'' is being preached world wide along with the warning that this system is soon to end and those of us doing so are treated much the same way.
