  • Should these ridiculous Stalinist "hate crime" laws be scrapped and we have proper freedom of speech like our American cousins?

Best answer: Yes. Any limits put on speech is not free speech at all. If you can be arrested for speaking a view then you do not have free speech.

"Whoever increases his knowledge merely increases his heartache" "He who learns must suffer" and "Ignorance is bliss" are all quotes that in varying degrees say the same thing, knowledge leads to suffering. I've been thinking about these quotes since yesterday.. How correct are these statements? I would say that they in some ways they are true, however if we don't experience pain and suffering then pleasure and joy are surely meaningless, and while knowledge might lead to pain, surely we should welcome all knowledge? I'm just rambling, but I'm interested to know others thoughts.

My boyfriend has a giant American flag hanging up in his living room. I like it a lot, and a lot of Marines he served with who gave their lives have signed the flag. However his ex girlfriend had signed it, and it wouldn’t be a big deal if she didn’t write a bunch of love stuff along with it. However, he has asked me to move in and one of my conditions was to cover up only her writing on the flag. I tried an oil based white sharpie and it didn’t work, her writing bled through the white; and he tried covering it up with white duck tape which also didn’t work because the tape didn’t stick to the flag as planned. I want it to look nice and not be very noticeable that something was covered up. Once it’s covered up, I was planning on paying to get the whole flag preserved in some way, so it’s really important to both of us that it still look nice. Any ideas?

Best answer: Before the French invasion of Prussia in 1870 (you have it the other way around, Bismarck defeated the French and it's argued that he welcomed the invasion, if not outright orchestrated the hostilities, because he had hoped to consolidate the many Germanic states into a single entity, and did eventually succeed), France invaded Prussia in 1806 under Napoleon. It had previously invaded Austria, so had necessarily crossed through other Germanic states.

Before that, the various Germanic states were part of the Holy Roman Empire, and the two sides battled off and on for centuries, with each invading and taking and holding lands temporarily.

The military history of Europe is too vast and complex to come up with a simple answer like 'how many times'.

Best answer: Right now I'm thinking not philosophically but more politically that much of what the world thinks is going on is a lie by the globalist controllers to keep the world afraid and thereby suppressed.

There are no nuclear bombs because nuclear reaction or atomic reaction has never been accomplished by setting off an ignition to cause a huge reaction, like they say happened in Japan, but that is another lie. They, the globalist rich criminals, lie to expropriate the wealth from workers to stay in power by keeping the world in a state of fear and manufactured scarcity.

A distant relative that eventually disowned my family wrote me as a character who is a gold digger that gets murdered. My name is rare and she even said she used our names, except I'm the only one who was a God awful character and who gets murdered. I also find it disturbing how she went into detail about the characters sex life. Can I have it removed and her forced to give the character a different name and recall the books or ? Or is there nothing I can do but write about her in a distasteful way so it comes up in the searches for her name and maybe buy a domain in her name so it comes near the top?

Voldemort s stretching powers come directly from his Slytherin ancestors. Slytherin passed on two traits to his descendants: parseltongue and stretchy magic.

Best answer: "Could"? When you ask "could", it's really a non-question. The earth "could" explode five minutes from now. Who can say a thing "could" not happen? A better way to phrase that might be, is it likely? Do factors still exist which when arranged in a certain combination lead to such things? To that I would have to say yes, I think so. These religious extremists would kill all "infidels" if they were in a position to do so. As it is, they butcher their enemies like animals - beheading and so forth.
