• Is this sentence correct?

Hi. I'm currently learning english. It's not so difficult, but I still have some doubts here and there. Give me your thoughts on the sentence below: Is "this kind of topic get me anxious" correct? Or perhaps "make me" would be better?

  • I wish i went to a ghetto school?

They seem so much fun. I always see videos of them and they seem very lit, especially since they always have fights. How can i convince my parents to move me to a ghetto school and that I can’t stand this boring school anymore?

My SAT scores are 920 ( pretty bad) but I am schedule to take it again and also I’m going to take the SAT Subject . My gpa is 93 which I think is 3.6-3.8 not sure . I’m trying to raise it . I been in the honor role my entire junior year and I’m going to take 2 AP classes , 1 honor and an elective for science since I already took all my science class . This past year I only had 95+.Also, gonna take 8 classes. I moved to a new school my junior year and only missed 8 days. I get send mail , emails and calls from a lot of uni but that’s peobably just promotion not like they actually want me . I live in New Jersey right now but I want to go to a uni out of state . I don’t do extra curricular activities anymore but I used to do swimming , choir, play instruments while in high school. Also, I did some community services and had a job as a teacher assistant in a summer camp. I haven’t been the best student since freshmen and sophomore were my worst years , I skip a class too many times . I’m not trying to be seen as a good student because I’m not . I just want an honest opinion, I don’t care where the university is but I really want to get into a 4 year one . I’m not trying to get into a big league school because I know my limits and I know I won’t get in . I don’t have money so I can’t pay for higher education but I will apply for financial help. What do you think ?

Examples: In the move, "A Night to Remember (1958)," the second class couple, before leaving England, promises to send their relatives a wireless "from the ship." Just where else would they send it from? A crew member who spotted the Californian exclaimed that it was so many "miles" away, with heavy emphasis on the word "miles." Was there some uncertainty about the measure of distance? Another crew member assured someone that the Carpathia should be here "any time now," which emphasis on the word "now." What does the word "now" add to the sentence? In other contexts, the British will preface an assertion with "in actual fact." If a "fact" is not "actual" (i.e. true), then it is not a fact. The British refer to an ordinary flashlight as a torch. What do they call a real torch?

So I'm going to be a senior in high school, and our college applications are due in just a few months, but I can't decide how far I want to go. I used to always say I wanted to get out of the south (i live in texas) but now that the time is actually coming to apply I don't know that I would be able to go so far away. My top options, schools that I absolute love are: UCLA, CU Boulder, NYU, and Penn state, but my parents don't want me to go that far away, even though I'm paying. I'm not as worried about going that far as much as I am about having to pay for plane tickets and travel costs and just how much time it would take to get to there and back. Is it worth it to go to college far away? I know I would love it, but its such a huge risk if i didn't (note, I get in state tuition at any public state university, so my tuition won't be hugely expensive). Thanks!!
