Last night I was only there for 4 hours but it was so exhausting. There's two kids with a ton of every and they do not get along nor do they have a bed time. Today I'm starting to feel sick as it is, so I'm already more tired than usual and I only got 3 hours of sleep. How do I cancel when it's this last minute? I know I can cancel but I'm pretty new to babysitting professionally and I can be very awkward so I'm not sure how to word it.

It's not worth me wasting my time applying for a job on the other side of town. Also why don't they list the amount of hours you'll get and the starting pay? These are the only three things that I'm iterated in. I don't need a bunch of corporate bs about what what kind of company it is and your ethics. All that stuff goes without saying. Just tell me the location the hours and the pay. That's all I need. Why do they do this?

I’ve recently become involved in a career that allows me to make money from home but, unfortunately, it hasn’t brought in any real substantial kind of income yet. So in the meantime, I need to find out another way I can earn an income. I am a partially disabled individual who has been denied disability multiple times despite showing medical documentation and I also take care of my sick father who cannot do much for himself without assistance. I have been living on his income plus the small amount that I make and until my current business picks up, I need help. Open to any and all suggestions. God Bless all of you.

Okay I'm not going to say the name of the restaurant but I've been going there for a while now and I really enjoy their food, but I'm also looking for a job, so I decided to apply for a job there. I filled out my application online, and two days later I called wishing to speak with a manager to follow up on my application. It was on a Thursday at 11:45 am. When the manager got on the phone he told me that I called during the lunch rush and it was a one of of the worst times for me to be calling him about my application. He sounded very stressed out too... at first I asked him how he was doing, but he never asked me how I was, and he said that he would look at my application and call me back if he needed me for an interview. He didn't say goodbye either when he hung up. It has me questioning, should I even work for said restaurant if this guy is the manager?

They constantly take the mick out of him, also say that he is lazy and that he has taken other peoples jobs even though one of the jobs he is doing he never chose to do it. Also because he wants to make his six month probation period without any hassle he never refuses to do any job that he has been asked, but other colleagues seem to think that he is brown nosing because he won't turn a job down. I could just do with some advise to see if this kind of thing has ever happened to any one before.

  • Should bad employees get bonuses and raises?

My co-worker has received a terrible review and has been written-up almost daily for bad performance, but got a large bonus and pay raise. She is on the verge of getting fired why did she get the same raise and bonus as top performers? I know about her bad performance because our supervisor confides in me.

I replied did you look at my resume before you called me in? and he replied yes then you already knew my age. at that point, I had enough! I stood up and looked directly into the eyes of the gentleman that was in charge of HR I said when I was young I remember complaining to my father that I wanted to quit a job because the boss was an *** hole My father's reply was don't because every job you go to has one asshole while still looking at HR I said and I just found your's and walked out.
