Yes you can use an antique vehicle as a daily driver, but no it's not wise. With every click of the odometer, every hour exposed to the elements, you're watching hundreds if not thousands of dollars go down the drain. Collector vehicles only hold their value if they're kept in pristine condition, and condition is everything to a collector. If you drive this thing around for a year, even if you only drive it on days with perfect weather, it will quickly cease to be a collector vehicle. It will just be really old, because collectors value condition above all else without exception.

But, having said that, it's entirely your decision. If your vehicle is legal for the road, you can use it as a daily driving vehicle. That means you no longer qualify for those speciality policies, the ones where you can have 'full' coverage on an antique car for $200 per year, because those policies don't cover regularly driven vehicles. You'll have to insure this thing on a normal owner's auto policy (standard auto insurance), and you'll want to have it insured to its appraised value for at least the next two years.

Where I live, that agreement is called OPCF 19A - Agreed Value of Automobile. It's used exclusively for high value collector vehicles, and it means your insurance company agrees that your vehicle is worth $___ in the event of a total loss. Keep in mind that this doesn't cost less than having insurance on a 1999 Toyota Camry, it costs a whole lot more. That's because you can kill just as many people with your 1929 Model A as you can with a 1999 Camry, the only difference is the repair bill for your vehicle.

Personally, I would keep that old Ford in indoor storage and covered in bubble wrap, because ten years from now it will be absolutely priceless if kept in pristine condition. But I'm not you, and it's not my car, so do as you will and have fun doing it.
