My boyfriend has this female friend who he has known before he met me, and whenever I see my boyfriend he always tells me something crude about her. This girl he is friends with is married but she always talks about her sex life to him in graphic detail, and then he feeds it back to me. She is talking to a number of men online even though she is married. I always get really upset when he tells me these things, but I’ve never told him but I usually get quiet and withdrawn after he’s told me. Anyway, he kept telling me recently that he’s going to spend the day out with her and then at night he’s going for a meal with her. This has really upset me but I haven’t told her. The other day We were cuddling together and then he rang her and kept telling his female friend that I was jealous because I wasn’t invited. Why is he always trying to make me jealous?

I work in sales (cosmetics to be exact) and at the counter there's 5 of us. On most days, 3 or 4 of us will be working together at a time. I've been with the company for almost two years and we were always told to stand out in the walkway and greet customers and help them at all times. Well until recently, one of my coworkers wanted to change the rules around. She was all like "I'm going to make a rotation system. Like Anne goes first, Mary goes second, etc." Because she felt like some people were getting more sales than others. And I was all for that idea at first but after a day of doing it, I hated it. So as I mentioned earlier, we are supposed to all be out in the isle greeting people. When it was "Mary's" turn, everyone would start hiding behind the counter and Mary would be the only one on the sales floor. And the managers would get mad obviously. Also, when I would get approached by a customer and it wasn't my turn, they wanted me to say "Hey Mary come over here, this customer needs help" which looks so unprofessional because I wasn't doing anything anyways besides standing there so the customer will probably think i just didn't want to help them. The other problem is they would skip over me and I would have barely any sales because they would lose track of who's turn it is and just name a random person to go next. I told them how I feel about the whole thing and that it's a recipe for disaster. But they seem to not care about what I have to say. What should I do?

  • This woman seemed very offended with constructive criticism?

Best answer: It is not your place to comment on the attire of strangers. I would have told you in no uncertain terms where you could stick your advice. The woman was very restrained in the circumstances.

I suspect they were on drugs, and were just yelling and swearing (mainly at themselves). A few stops later they get off and the guy is on the platform looking back into the carriage. I start eyeballing him and giving him an angry look. He reacts and starts to yell (I can't hear him). The doors are now closed and train starts to move. I mouth to him "F..k you" "bring it on" and motion to him to "bring it on" with my hands. He is really infuriated and runs after the train banging on the window as we leave. I do this as I know they have security at the station and hope they see him and call police. This is not a troll post as this definitely happened, and I sometimes like to piss people off if I know I can get away with it and if they deserve it!

I do know her mom is dead, and if she says her never met her mom, then she probably died during birth. If she had died after birth, then that meets she met her mom, even for a second. I heard her talking in class that she was born in a parking lot, not a hospital. And she was not adopted. The only way I know is that she came out just seconds after her mom died giving birth.

I am 23 and work part-time at a large retail store. I usually do three shifts a week. I often work with this 18 year old boy who is very annoying and irritating. Unfortunately, nobody at work really likes him, but we put up with him. I am polite and civil towards him, but that’s as far as it gets. He is completely full of himself, overly talkative, doesn’t like listening to others, creates unnecessary drama, has NO social awareness, and always interrupts our managers when they’re busy. The customer service that he provides is extremeky over-the-top, and many times I’ve seen customers secretly laughing at him when he goes overboard. He also sends CONSTANT messages in our work group-chat asking for his shifts to be covered. It’s ridiculous. He tries to tell me and other co-workers what to do (even though he’s not a manager and is YOUNGER than me). I’ve worked with the company for five years, and he has been there for 10 months. Hence, I REFUSE to be told what to do by him and I’ve had to put him in his place now and then. How do I keep my cool when working with him? Like I said, I’m not rude and I always remain polite and calm. However, lately he has really been testing my patience (like today - I had to just walk away and take a deep breath). How can I not let him annoy me?

  • Why do people text..saying they will call you "soon" or "tomorrow" or " later today" but never do?

I DO NOT reach out to them...they start the convo saying hi..etc. etc I need to ask you question etc. Etc.. Then say I will call you. But NEVER does. Its happened all week. Incredibly annoying. Its for business related. We are both married so not interested romantically. Strictly business.

I had some people tell me, "There's that smile!" "Why do smile a lot, I mean we're just friends?" I even smiled a lot at my professor that every time I smiled at him, it distracted and interrupted him during his lectures and he said something like, "You're smiling at me again?" Then he would stop lecturing and he would slouch like my smile made him so weak, and he smiled at me back. I would take a test and I would look up, and once we make eye contact, there I am, smiling at him. When I saw a counselor, I saw on the notes that she wrote, "Inappropriate smiling." In the library, I kept looking around and smiling at the people next to me in the library, who were old men, and one of them asked me out. The other old man said, "Don't look at me. Because your smile is very seductive."

Last month my mom told me she was going to have a garage sale sometime in June. She asked if I could help out with it and I told her I can't get a Saturday off but I can request a Sunday off afterward to help clean it up. She said that works because she hates putting away everything. Last month, I told her I would have Sunday, June 24th off and she said a month ago that she'd do the sale on Saturday the 23rd then. On Friday, I asked her about the sale and she says "we agreed on the past weekend of the month". This was the last weekend. Next Sunday is July 1st.we had talked about this a month ago when I requested this day off. I don't have the time off next weekend to help out and now she's mad because she thinks I'm the one who screwed up when I told her what day I requested off. At this point I don't want to help at all because of her attitude. I know we had chosen the 23rd. Next weekend it's supposed to be close to 100 degrees and I don't want to have to get out of work and help clean up her garage sale in the same day just because of her mistake that she blames on me.
