Best answer: I seldom eat meat, sometimes chicken breast. If I eat a bowl of salad veggies with pieces of fruit or a bowl of steamed veggies, I have diarrhea. I also don't eat enough recommended daily fibre. I was having scans and ultrasounds for something unrelated and they detected I had extensive diverticulosis which are many small pockets in my lower intestines due to lack of fibre. I have noticed when I add protein in my salads like eggs or if I have a small piece of steak with steamed veggies, I have good solid stools. So I'll suggest you eat oats for breakfast and ensure you put protein in your other meals such as chickpeas, lentils or any other vegan proteins like tofu, almonds etc. If you can afford to, maybe visit a dietician to get your diet right.

Best answer: I feel that it is a quick way out that robs people of what they could have had. Forget about families and friends suffering.... You know, I am so sick of hearing about how hard it is on a family or friends. I have contemplated it before and ya know what stopped me.... The fact that my family and friends had no idea. They aren't my real friends or true family. How can they be and not notice how I was acting and shutting myself out? I kept going for two reasons.... 1) Myself. Forget about my family turning themselves into the victims if i died. **** that... id be the dead one right? I am the one who would have no future... not them.. so how are they the victims here? 2) I kept going for strangers. I want to help people. Its something I love doing. Forget about friends, they will not always be there for you. The best side of humanity you will ever see is when you help a complete stranger. The connection is great. I say keep moving on.... for yourself and all you have to offer the world.

Long story short I’m a college student who ended up in the hospital from drinking too much. I know, stupid mistake but I’ve learned from it. I can’t let my parents find out so I’m wondering if acute alcohol intoxication will show up on the bill? I had some tests done and iv fluids.

I know, I need to really get this diagnosed, but I recently moved and don't have a doctor yet. Here's what's going on. For several months now I have a burning pain on the lower left side of my stomach that seems to "flare up" from time to time. It usually lasts for a few days to a week and is really uncomfortable, but other times I can barely feel anything. All the while, I have much more gas than normal, constipation, and heartburn associated with the burning stomach. I have tried to pay attention to my diet to see if it's triggered some how, and it seems like spicy foods can make it worse but that's all I've been able to determine so far, and it happens when I don't eat spicy food too. When I search for possible reasons, I see everything from ulcers to low stomach acid to IBS. Just wondered what others have found and if I can rule out some things or do some tests on my own to confirm what's happening. Thanks,

For instance, I have surgery tomorrow morning at 7:00am, but they want me to arrive at the outpatient surgery center at 5:15am. Most of my paperwork was already processed online, the insurance is paying for everything and everyone is in network. The other few papers that I'm initialing for their rules will be brought with me. The ENT doc already has the CT scan disc (I'm having turbinate reduction and also deviated septum surgery). Why would I be arriving to early? What is all of the "prep" for such a thing? I'm trying to figure out where that other 1 hour 45 minutes is actually going. I could change into a gown in 2 minutes. I'm also curious why they say to not eat or drink anything after 11pm tonight. I mean, I do understand with food. You could get sick from the anesthesia and vomit while under, possibly choking to death on it. I get that part. Why no liquids like plain water? I also get that maybe they think that people might try to sneak some in at the last minute and still have it on their stomach. However, if you theoretically drank some water at like 1am (I won't be doing it, but just saying)...it would be well out of your system even by 5:15am when you arrived. Much less 7am when the surgery takes place. What's the deal with this procedure? I have found that some hospitals and such tell people to not eat or drink anything past midnight the night before the surgery and it isn't until 9am the next morning. What gives with this? Again, eating, I understand.

Get ready for great conversation without having to pee every 10 minutes. Enjoy it and there will always be folks who prefer alcohol or nothing at all. I'm a 21 years old female living in California, I was a victim of a hit & run last month, and I still don't know who hit me.. I kind of have an idea of how she looks like, but I don't know who she is, or where she lives or anything at all, the police failed in finding her no matter how hard I tried to describe how she looked like, she was an old lady, I'd say 45-50 she hit me with her car when I was on my way to college, then I remember she told me to get in the car and she could drive me anywhere I want, but since I was dying and bleeding I couldn't move or get inside her car, then she just left me there, she didn't call an ambulance, didn't try to help me or anything.. that's when I fell unconscious and next thing I remember was waking up in a hospital, I didn't go to college since then, I'm traumatized and sick, I had 2 surgeries, I have a broken neck and leg, and I can't do anything, I fell into deep depression, and my family can't afford therapy or anything like that, I'm broken mentally, emotionally and physically, and I just want that woman to pay for what she did to me and how she left me there like I was an insect, but the police aren't helping, no one is... I'm so desperate knowing she can live her life normally when I'm suffering, I want her to spend jailtime or at least pay money to help me recover, what should I do ??

The goal would be that the hospital is only in service for emergency patients on holidays. The emergency room of the hospital never closes.

For the first day i was constantly dizzy like i wouldn’t be able to walk or drive and it said “may cause dizziness” so i didn’t think anything of it. So i started taking only breakfast and dinner Bc second day i had work and i work with kids. Last night around 3am i woke up with sever stomach pains so i went to bathroom and that is when my heart rate when sky rocket and i started sweating so bad i felt cold and then i felt like numb like i was about to die or pass out. My fiancé woke up to me on the bathroom floor and i was pale and he picked me up and lay me on my back on the bed and listened to my heart and it was in tachycardia (he’s a nurse) and i was nearly breathing..for a second i thought it was a panic attack but it wasn’t it couldn’t have been. I started focusing on breathing and it was really hard to breath but then my heart rate went down and i started feeling alittle better so i went to the bathroom, felt really dizzy but had some diarrhea.
