Unfortunately we live about 3 hours from each other now and one day when I was in town, my friend told me how she really wanted bigger breast. I told her I’d buy her a boob job for her birthday under the condition that I get to see them. This is not me trying to be perverted. This is me making sure she uses the money for what she says she’s using it for and the only way for me to ensure that is to be there when it happens. She’s agreed to my terms but what do you guys think? If you were a female and your male friend offered to pay for your boob job, would you be ok in letting him see the results?

Jokingly I said “I like to try new positions”. With a big smile on his face, he said “If my boss knew what I was thinking now, I would be fired on the spot”. I told him “If something comes up, let me know”. We both had a good laugh. In the employee break room I told some of my female co workers about this and they told me that was sexual harassment. What do you think? Was that sexual harassment? If it was, who was harassing who? He did not say anything about sex.

  • What should I do? Should I make a move?

Best answer: I definitely think she likes you or she wouldn't be so touchy feely with you and that is a subtle, non verbal way of flirting. She knows your bi and that's a good thing, so ask her to hang out and don't be afraid to make the first move.

I keep hearing people stories how irritating a roommate can be. I don't want to be categorized as that.

It’s so frustrating to be around someone who is constantly so self obsessed! It’s normal to talk about yourself but she does it too much and tries to show you how disinterested she is in what you have to say. Not only that, she’s very rude about other people, and although she suffers from a lot issues too, she likes to put other people down for their problems and she has 0 empathy for anyone but herself. She is friendly but it’s veey fake and only because she can later say that’s she’s “nice” to everyone lol. She complains a lot when people are mean to her and says “I’m nice to everybody why would they be mean to me” but she isn’t nice she’s so difficult to be around! She makes people around her feel unimportant and I want to know how to deal with her!

  • How do you respond to people who try to push what they think is real on you?

Best answer: You don’t really have to respond to them. You can’t push your reality on them anymore than they can do the converse. So just ignore them. Live your own life and embrace your own reality. That’s what you’re here for.

I have worked at a company for 7 years. The last 3 years for a terrible boss. He hit on all the female employees married or not. He often made us work through our lunch hour. We had a big party to celebrate his leaving (after he left). Everyone was happy to get a new boss. However my happiness turned to tears when I found out who the new boss was. It was a guy who had asked me for dates in high school and I turned him down every time. I just knew he would fire me to get back for turning him down for dates. For the first month I worked for him, I lived in fear every day that he would fire me. However he never said a word about us going to high school together. It appeared he did not remember me and what I did to him. Perhaps because I am using my married name now. My close friend Jill thinks he is just a nice guy that remembers but does not want to embarrass me by saying anything about our past. Everyone thinks and I agree he is a great boss. He is giving us all training so we can get a raise and promotion. For those of us that have kids, he will cover for us when we have to go to a school event or when we have doctor’s appointment for our kids. My coworkers just adore him as their boss. I still have the fear that one day he will remember me and fire me. Am I fearful for no reason? Should I mention our past to him or just forget it and move on?

Best answer: My parents were exactly like this and I was depressed and suffer from severe anxiety still because of it. You aren’t living your OWN life that’s why you are feeling the emptiness that pure despair brings. It ******* sucks, I know. It’s the worse thing in the world to just feel nothing and be numb because you feel like you’ve given up. I eventually just became so hateful and bitterthat I would tell my parents off and stand up for myself. It’s probably not the best way to deal with it but it allowed me to be myself and express my unhappiness. Talk to someone, find friends at school or teachers. Go out on walks by your house if you can. Do something for yourself and keep doing it then you can slowly take control back on your own life. It’s hard, trust me but once you find yourself and able to express yourself is when you will begin to feel more complete. Stay strong :)

We work together and had a minor argument while leaving work 3 weeks ago over me being 10 minutes late to work that morning. I thought it would blow over by the next day but she refused to speak everytime I tried. That was the last time I saw her. The day after she didn't turn into work so I called her and left an apologetic voicemail for my part in the argument and asked her to call me back. She didn't call back and didn't show up to work again the day after so I text her to apologise again. I heard nothing over the weekend so on the Monday sent a little more straightforward text asking her to call me. She sent a long rant of a text back using insults and threats and although I tried to keep civil, I did defend myself against what she said. We haven't spoken since, she hasn't shown at work and now she has quit her job citing depression as me being the main reason and won't talk to any of our other work friends. All this after 4 years together.

Actually she is my cousin (I'm a woman). She's married and has her own son. We live in different continents. I like her, get along with her and she visited me a couple of times over the years. The problem is, in the last few years, she has been progressively contacting me more an more, through FB comments, emails etc. Sometimes it's 'where are you now?' (as I do lots of travel) or news updates or articles she thinks are interesting. Two years ago she visited and said 'we should meet up next year'. I managed to avoid it by being on the move the whole time but now, she is coming to visit with her spouse and I offered them room in my place. I'm really worried as she has started messaging almost on a daily basis with different queries about the trip. It's almost as if she's using email and message to keep in constant contact. I am not a chat person at all and it is driving me nuts. I try to leave it a few days before replying to give her the hint but she sends a reminder! I hate it so much and am now thinking of giving them the key to my place and heading off while they are here. It's suffocating me. How can I stop her from contacting me? There's no need for it!
