Brexit isn't anything to do with the US. It makes absolutely no difference.

I am in the preliminary steps of planning and figuring out reservations and costs, but I am unsure how safe/possible this will be since both of us are 19 years old. We will have our own car to drive so rental is not an issue, but I worry that reservations and safety may be. Is this too unfeasible?

Also, how much money would you recommend bringing? We will be staying in an RV so hotel costs is not needed and we will be either parking the rv or camping when we sleep. So just an estimate for gas, food, and a few activities. IF IT WAS TOUR TRIP, HOW MUCH TIME AND MOMEY WOULD YOU DECIDE? Thanks

  • I live in Pennsylvania and wanna plan a beach vacation for 2019 but don't wanna go to the Jersey Shore, where else can I take a beach trip?

Best answer: I live in Maryland and the Jersey Shore has always been my favorite destination... that is... until I discovered Florida. Cleaner beaches, cleaner water, fewer people, and better weather makes this a better travel destination.

Best answer: I have never been to either, but I would love to see Alaska someday. I live in a cold state, so I'm not too worried about extra snow :)

Best answer: Washington, Oregon and Idaho are in the area considered the Pacific Northwest. Montana and Wyoming are more correctly called Rocky Mountain states. Now for the confusion. Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan are in an area called the Great Northwest. Go figure that one out.

I currently live in Virginia and want to move to Seattle to participate in a Data Science Bootcamp with either Galvinize U or General Assembly. I can't stand my current job nor the drama and bs I'm around at this moment. I'll have everything I need around Thanksgiving and I plan on rolling out that weekend and arrive before the first of December. Before I go, I plan on investing in some warm clothes, water, emergency kit, brand new tires, and a tune up. The two quickest routes go through I-64 and various other hwys through WVa, OH, IN, IL with one diverging through IA,MN, and connecting to I-90 in SD and onto WY, MT, ID and WA. The other from IL to WI on I-90 to I-94 through MN, ND, MT and re-emerging on I-90 in MT through ID and WA. The beginning of the trip in the Eastern Mid-Western states I'm not concerned about and anticipate it being a breeze (with the exception of all of those tolls in IL). My biggest concern is the weather in either of the Dakotas and getting through the Rockies in MT, ID, and WA. I've heard many horror stories of Avalanches and extreme Sub-Zero temperatures getting as low as -40°F. I've considered taking the Southern "Panhandle" on I-40 from TN to CA and take I-5 along the coast once I get to CA. However, that would lengthen my trip considerably and cost me more time and money. Any helpful tips? I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who live or have traveled to the high concern areas of the Dakotas, Montana, Idaho, and East Washington.
