  • Is there anywhere for a long stretch without gas stations/rest stops going I-10 East to West crosscountry? Ive heard repeatedly that?

There are areas in TX that do not. What about the deserts in AZ and CA? Any advice from anyone who’a driven this? Many say go i-40, because theres more civilization, but id prefer the more flat route. And sounds more enjoyable. Anyone who prefers i-10?

So I'm driving across the country and wanted to know some places to hit. Definitely going to the Grand Canyon and Mesa, AZ, but other than that I do't know what else to hit! Preferably the cheapest options, since I'm on a tight budget. Thank y'all!

  • The most beautiful beach in the world is located in Biloxi, Mississippi on The Gulf Coast where I was born. Yet people hate Mississippi why?

Something to do with slavery, civil rights, antebellum plantations, Jefferson Davis, the Mississippi confederate flag, the KKK, Ole Miss, and the 1964 murders in Neshoba County! Did I forget anything???

Hello everyone, I’m currently planning on moving with my relatives. We are currently living in Southern California, it is too dry and hot here for our preferences, and prices are very high. We want to move to a city that doesn’t get cold enough to snow, but also not too hot. We want to be close enough to family in Florida if possible. Affordable prices and city life are also 2 priorities. Does anyone have an idea of a city in USA that has most or all of what we’re looking for? Thank you!!

  • First time attempting a small overnight vacation?

Best answer: Look at Megabus, greyhound and Amtrack train. See where their routes go. And what towns they go to and what there is to do there. A BnB is a good idea. They would know local things to do. We live near Chicago and resorts. We stayed a weekend . One resort has nice hiking trails and a theater. Chicago is great.... show more

We live near Chicago and resorts. We stayed a weekend . One resort has nice hiking trails and a theater. Chicago is great. Stay in the Loop and plenty of things to do. Ple ty of activities to walk to. Many hotels run weekend special deals because much of their business is during the week from Buisness travelers.
Amtrak out of Chicago goes to many locations that would work for a weekend trip. . So it depends on where you live.
