Am not sure if that's a thing or if anyone else will be doing that. Would that be odd to add in ? Should I just leave it at the baby gift only ?

  • How many scoops of formula do I use?

Best answer: If you are in the US it is 1 scoop for every 2 oz. so for an 8 oz bottle you do 8oz water with 4 leveled scoops. (The water mark will go above 8 with formula but it is still considered 8oz formula

  • Why is the belly still big immediately after giving birth?

Best answer: Because everything has stretched to accommodate the baby. it needs time to shrink back down. It usually takes about 6 weeks.

That is something I would like to do but everytime I ask someone it seems like I’m always getting a different opinion and that’s what makes it hard. I know there are people who think that after the first few months it’s fine and there are some who think it isn’t appropriate until they are 1 yr or older. But I’ve done reading and I know seperatiom anxiety starts around 8-14 months so i don’t want bigger issues with him being over there. My mom has expressed that she doesn’t think it’s a good idea and that she think he’s wont sleep becuase I’m not there.

Best answer: If the Calpol doesn't bring baby's fever down OR she's had a fever of 103 degrees F (39.4 degrees C) or higher, she needs to go straight to the doctor or urgent care. If her temp is lower than that and responds to medication, it's less worrisome. What you should focus on now is keeping her hydrated. It's okay if she doesn't eat much for a day or two, even young toddlers can manage without much food for a little while as long as they're well hydrated.

If they sell Pedialyte where you live, try giving her 1-2 oz at a time and see if she can keep it down for an hour. If she does then try giving her a little more. Pedialyte is a name brand but really any oral electrolyte solution from your pharmacy will do. The electrolytes will help her hydration, and the sugar in it provides at least a small amount of calories until she's ready to eat some food again. If she does okay with the Pedialyte you can try other clear fluids such as broth or juice, and once she goes 8 hours without vomiting you can try a little bit of solid food.

We just recently got into an argument about baby powder.. I’m against baby powder for babies or toddlers. It gets messy and I just never liked it. This morning I was changing my sons diaper and she seen me she threw the baby powder on the bed.. I ignored it, I cleaned my son with wipes and just put his diaper on.. she asked me why I didn’t put the powder on him and I told her I didnt think it was needed since he doesn’t have a rash., she got upset at me saying I never listen to her and always wants to do things my way.. and that I always think I know everything.. I just turned 27 yesterday and this is my child. I think I’m old enough to know what’s best for him or not... but since I stay with her I have to keep taking my moms verbal and emotional abuse.. do you guys think I should listen to her about everything and do whatever she says when it comes down to my son just because I live with her?

Best answer: Would recommend Baby’s magic tea to anyone who wants their child with digestive issues to sleep and be comforted. Our 8 week old son has silent reflux, gas and colic and this has been a godsend. He now sleeps 8/8:30 – 5:00 every night

These days (in my country) the vast majority of people under 70 were formula fed and a lot of them are not as healthy/good looking as those over the age of 70 despite the age differences. The bottle has definitely had a negative knock on effect over the past decades.
