  • I am so scared about having a baby. My body?

is morphing into a balloon! When I see birth videos, I'm so grossed out I can't take it. That's only the beginning of the trauma. How do women have all of these babies? I don't get it. I want to go back. It's too late. Experience?

  • 22 month old boy hitting his 4 month old brother (very hard) in the face. Is a 22 month old too young to understand consequences for bad?

behavior? He is being spoken to firmly about the hitting but it doesn't seem to be working. He will sneak up on the baby and hit him very hard in his face.

We have tried everything! We slept in the same room as her, we have a bedtime routine, we even tried the cry it out method in desperation and that didn't work. She's a wonderful baby during the day, barely cries or fusses but when it's time for bed (she rubs her ties because she's tired) she has the most horrific screaming meltdowns I've ever seen. She screams so hard she makes herself puke. We've tried nightlights, no lights, lullaby, co-sleeping, using the bottle to put her to sleep, everything we can think of. It is so horrible for all of us that I've decided we won't have any more kids because I truly can not handle this a second time. I don't care about her sleeping through the night, I care about getting her to sleep without the screaming. Please, does anyone know what to do? Any advice?

  • Can toddler get sick from me drinking?

I had a 8 oz mix drink of sweet tea with less than a shot of Johnny walker red label with dinner. I waited 2 and a half hours then breastfed my 20 month old son. I didn’t know my husband had given him baby Motrin to help his teething pain. He gave it to him about an hour before I breastfed him and now I’m worried if there was any alcohol left in my breastmilk and if it will make him sick. I didn’t feel drunk as there was very little alcohol in my drink. I read to wait a minimum of 2 hours after drinking to breastfeed again..

  • Why are most baby carriers front facing when traditionally women carried their babies on their backs?

Traditionally Inuit, Africanans Asian women carried their babies in slings on their backs. This makes me wonder why it seems most baby carriers are forward facing. It’s seems having a baby on your back would allow for greater movement

  • Should I be worried? Will it resolve on it s own or should I take her to the doctor?

Best answer: I get why you're worried, as an adoptive mum of a newborn exposed to drugs. But when I read your description of her behaviour, I went back to where you said how old she is, and then I went, 'oh, that explains it'. Best answer: I get why you're worried, as an adoptive mum of a newborn exposed to drugs. But when I read your description of her behaviour, I went back to where you said how old she is, and then I went, 'oh, that explains it'.

Around 6-8 weeks there is usually not only a physical growth spurt, but a pretty big developmental spurt. More awake time, more aware of surroundings, more conscious control of limbs, starting to anticipate familiar routines, first social smiles but also often more crying than at any other time, even improving eyesight.

This is when it's normal for the predictable routine of feeding-changing-sleeping to get shaken up for the first time. That's not due to drugs or autism. Baby simply becomes capable of being distracted!

Just one thing: 3.5-4 hours between feeds is actually pretty long for this age, and crying is a late sign of hunger. You could try to feed at earlier hunger cues, when baby isn't as agitated yet. This may or may not help, but certainly doesn't hurt.

  • After my babe is due will my wife still be cranky going thru pain any symptoms?

Best answer: From your previous question it seems wife is now 7 weeks pregnant and will get more cranky as the next 33 weeks pass and after baby is born she will be tired with caring for baby and not getting much sleep but obviously you will be there to help so she should be ok after baby is born

Baby has bumps with red rings on her legs !?

She had a vaccine on her left leg but she developed what appear to be bumps with a ring around it on both legs 10 days later. (Two have already disappeared). Are these bug bites or something associated within the vaccine? (The vaccine was almost two weeks ago)
