• Can children be up for adoption if their parents just recently died?

My friend's parents died when she was 16. She was loved, cared for, disciplined and never abused like how families are "supposed" to work. Her aunt had custody over her instead. This girl can't imagine being adopted into a different family with other people whom she would call "parents".... show more

The memories of her parents are very vivid and they're the ones who raised her (not counting the remaining 2 years of being a child). However, if a child has NO relative or family friend to take care of them... would they immediately be up for adoption or do they just put them in foster care?

They are all so welcoming and accepting of me as well as extended family members and I’d like to be adopted back. Is this possible in the state of North Carolina?

  • (reincarnation) If a baby is aborted, is there a chance it will be reborn to the same mother?

I had an abortion because I couldn't support another baby (I had 2 kids already). 3 years later I am pregnant with my 3rd and I'm wondering if it might be the same soul. • If a kidnapped child is adopted, can the original parents claim the child back?

I ve got this wacked out teacher who has something against Law and Order. He s always finding reasons to complain about how unrealistic it is. Well he s given us an assignment where we have to basically pick out an episode, find something in said episode and discuss what wrong with it and how it would really work. Most people are probably going to write about technique and what-not but I found an interesting topic and couldn t find anything on it. A baby is kidnapped and then put up for a closed adoption. The adoptive parents think the whole things legitimate and raise the boy til hes like 12. The real parents find out and in the end, they aren t able to get their kid back and instead get "visitation rights" I can t find anything on the subject. Anyone know where I could?

  • Ideas on how to ask my mothers boyfriend to adopt me.?

Best answer: There are some videos on YouTube of other people doing this. Get the adoption papers, get a box, wrap it up like a present, and give it to him. He will be floored, I promise you.

So I don’t want to get into many details, but I’m pregnant and I never really wanted to be a mom. The baby’s dad has 5 other kids from 4 women apparently and he doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore. I’m currently 2 months pregnant and I’m looking into my options. I don’t have any family because I was in foster care and wasn’t ever adopted. I don’t know any biological family and I don’t have many friends. I’m alone in this and unfortunately I’m having to resort to advice from strangers on Yahoo Answers. So... my question is this: Could I sign away my rights after I give birth and place the baby for adoption without the dad being involved? He doesn’t know I’m pregnant and I don’t plan on telling him. I’m moving from Nevada to Minnesota next month. What if I tell them that I don’t know who the father is?

  • Giving baby up for adoption?

I’m 18 and unprepared to be a mom. Not only that, but the baby will be biracial (half black/white) and my family would be really unaccepting. While I’d love to keep him/her (I don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet) I don’t think I can. I lack the funds and family support to do so. :/ Where could I find an adoption... show more
