• Will Markle and her family speak in Ebonics or creole?

Best answer: I would imagine they'd actually communicate with smoke signals and drums given Markel's ethnic background.

I don't know what a mouse ''toy'' is! I won't give her a teddy bear or something small and stuffed to hug obviously... she won't even care and will probably shred it to pieces! So i beg you, people of the world wide web, outstretch your arm, and lend me your aid to put an end to this crisis!

  • Hello everyone. I just recently got home today, and found something disturbing. My 4 almost 5 year old guinea pig was stiff on the floor.?

He has passed away today while I was gone. I'm not sure from what but I'm guessing from old age as he was very healthy. I'm not sure what to do with the body. I have a love for animals, like most people and wanted to know if I could donate the body to vet scientists, to help other animals in the future. Or, I was just looking to give him a proper burial. It would help if I could get some opinions on other guinea pig owners. Thank you.

So, we might be getting a chinchilla for my sister and since Im the "animal / science person" Ive been suddenly put in charge of finding the cost and such. Id say Im a pretty responsible in this category considering I do own a couple of different animals. Although they are all aquatic, not anything like a chinchilla. My axolotl, ghost shrimp, and guppies have thrived for quite a while. Ive asked my sister plenty times to start researching and figuring out how to take care of a chinchilla but she keeps pushing it away. Ive read up about chinchilla care and now know quite a lot, Im just afraid that when she moves out or something like that, since chinchillas live pretty long, she might neglect it. I love animals, so I dont want this to happen to the poor thing, I dont really know what to do. Thanks for the answers

  • How can I stop my hamster from chewing the bars of her cage?/ How much food should I give her if I'm going out of town?

I have a Roborovski hamster and she lives in a Kaytee Kaytee CritterTrail One Level Habitat Small Pet Habitats cage. I read that when hamsters chew on the bars of their cages it can mean they're stressed, bored, or their cage is too small. If you look up the cage I have her in and the type of hamster she is then you might say her cage isn't too small. I hope it isn't but I could be wrong. If it is can anyone suggest a new cage for her or perhaps how much bigger it should be? If she is bored then what can I get her? I will definitely work on getting her out to play more and running around in her ball. I want to make sure a bigger cage is what sge needs before i get her one because I'd rather do what's necessary than doing something unnecessary that will just stress her out if that make sense. On another note I will be out of town for 4 days and I want to know how much food I should stalk her up on. I don't want to give her too much nor too little. Regretfully I have no one to look after her and cannot do anything to change that. I love her dearly and the last thing I want is for her to be miserable or unhappy in anyway. I already feel like a bad hamster mama. Please help (I know you're probably thinking I'm unfit to be a hamster parent but I promise I have good intentions and I just want what's best for her)

Mice are super easy to care for. Clean the cage about once a week, Make sure they have food and water. I like to give bits of veggies, fruits, meats etc so they can have some fresh food and for variety. The only time consuming thing is setting up the cage after cleaning. I get picky and need everything to be just right but honestly the mice don't care if you throw something together quickly.
Also I'm gonna agree with InfinityMidnight. They do stink. Even if the cage is large (I have a pair in a 40 gallon) and even if you keep it clean (I clean it once a week) they still stink. Its not overwhelming or even a terrible smell but it is there.

Best answer: I think what they meant to say "spaying" which is the female equivalent to "neutering". Spaying or neutering refers to a surgical procedure to render a dog, cat or in this case rats, unable to produce litters of offspring. In addition to halting reproduction, other health benefits include the prevention of certain types of cancers and behavioral problems that include roaming, fighting for the attention of a mate and “marking” territory. It's a pretty simple procedure where both ovaries are removed through a small incision in the flank. It's a simple procedure and animals recover quite quickly from it, so it's really worth it to get it done especially with all the added benefits mentioned above. :)
