  • I look weird without glasses?

Best answer: Yea, it will take some time to adjust, not only to look different but as well as the to the contacts themselves. I think that people will get used to your new look pretty quickly as the same thing happens with haircuts.

  • How can I get used to my new reading glasses?

Best answer: If you continue to use them every time you read, your eyes will just naturally adjust. The more you wear them, the less time it'll take. Since they're just for reading and the like, though, be careful not to over do it. It'll give you headaches and possibly damage your vision more.

  • If I go for an eye test and ask for glasses despite my vision problems only being minor, will they give me glasses?

Best answer: Do your test and be honest. If the doctor thinks you need them they will prescribe you with them. If not you can always get reading glasses or fake if you like the look

Best answer: Remember that a black eye is bruising which means that capillaries/small vessels around the eye have ruptured and leaked blood under the skin. So a few things can make it worse,

    1. Another strike to the area will rupture more vessels and cause more bleeding.
    2. Applying heat to the area soon (within 48 hours) after the injury will cause the injured vessels to expand and leak even more blood to the area. Ice within 48 hours, on the other hand, will limit the expansion of the bruising and help the associated swelling.
    3. Over time gravity will pull the blood downhill and this will spread the blood out resulting in an appearance that looks worse (even if it's just the same volume of blood). As the blood in the bruise is broken down naturally by the body, it will turn all sorts of interesting colors and some can perceive this as worsening.
    4. Things that encourage bleeding - aspirin, strong blood thinners, hemophilia, administration of clot busting agents, etc will also worsen the bruise.

Best answer: The front side of optical lenses are molded, not ground , so the front surface can not be retouched in any way without marring it. Once that shininess is broken on the lens, it can't be replaced.A spray would have to be of the same optical quality as the lens is made of and apply itself following the exact same curvature and then repolish itself to that same shine as the original lens......pretty well impossible.

The optical industry spends millions a year replacing lenses on warranty because of scratching. If there was a way to fix scratches instead of having to replace the lens, we would certainly know about it and be using it.

Several fake products are advertised and youtube is full of silly tricks to remove scratches, but none of them actually work.

Your lenses have to be replaced, there is no other way.
