It is disgusting and upsetting that in the richest nation on earth, the government does not give a damn about the education of its own people. Education should be a right not a privilege. Education should be free and the government should make sure that every single American HAS AN OPPORTUNITY to attend college How are we going to progress as a nation if we deny the working class the right to an education? Do you even realize how many great minds have been lost because they didn't have an opportunity to attend college? For example, the guy who discovered DNA atended college on a scholarship

She went to graduate school and got TWO masters degree, one ine epidemiology and the other public health.we graduated may 1975 when the Vietnam War was escalating... i know someone in the Air Force who is getting his master's degree online, but i don't know what in. He went to the Air Force Academy . His aunt is my closest friend and is an M.D.

Seriously , would you want a surgeon who had never dissected a real human body operating on YOU? My friend is an M.D. and neurologist, she was brain surgeon. She saved my life long distance 8 years ago..She and her husband are no longer in private practice, but they are both full time faculty members of a health sciences technical university..

Talk to Navy recruiter and TELL them you want to go to medical school after getting a bachelor's degree. You CAN get the bachelor's degree online..

Best answer: The noun ignorance is not a synonym for "stupidity," since its meaning is closer to "being uninformed" than "being unintelligent." Ignorance implies that a person or group needs to be educated on a particular subject. You might have heard the phrase "ignorance is bliss," which means that sometimes it's easier when you don't know the whole truth about something and can be blissfully happy, unaware of unpleasant realities.

Arrogance comes from the Latin arrogans which means overbearing. If you show arrogance, your pride is overbearing and offensive to others. Arrogance can also be attributed to corporations who fail to take consumer opinion into account and to nations that seem to do whatever they want with no regard for other countries.

  • What does 'as noun' mean in "As nouns, gerunds are modified by adjectives." Is it 'the same way as nouns' or 'in view of being nouns'...?

Best answer: I believe it means 'in the same way as nouns'. A gerund is what is sometimes called a 'verbal noun' - a verb that functions as a noun. That doesn't make it a noun. It remains a gerund but it is modified by adjectives in the same way as a noun.
