• Can my girlfriend shoot my pistol at the range if she doesn't have a permit?

Best answer: 9 times out of 10 that will all depend on the range. The range I most often frequent will not allow anyone to shoot without that range's own issued safety permit- current Military and LE excepted. • Is hunting necessary?

Best answer: As a sport, no. It serves no purpose. Nobody gives a **** that someone has a moose head or a bear rug. Doesn’t take much to kill an animal with a high power rifle. For food and population control, yes. If you don’t kill the excess animals then they’ll bring disaster to the area and affect other species. If there’s too many tigers and too few deers then the tigers will hunt the deer to extinction in that area. By killing some of the tigers, it gives the deer a chance to repopulate.

In my state in the USA, I can buy a pistol (with a waiting period), transport an unloaded pistol, and fire a pistol at locations where its legal to do so - all without any kind of permit.

My state offers a concealed pistol license which allows a person to purchase a pistol without a waiting period and transport the pistol in a car or on their person with the gun loaded.

  • What should I put on my pistol permit application where it says “ why do you want a pistol”?

Best answer: Putting "It's my constitutional right" is probably the best one, "Target shooting" is also good, except if you get a twitchy anti-gun cop, they might see the word "shooting" and freak out. So constitutional rights is probably the best one. Also I find it odd someone told you not to... show more

i have a scientific collecting license for fox squirrels andhave trap door live traps and equipment to grab and secure a squirrel safely without harming it (for all those who might possibly object) i am conducting surveys and need to tag. the standard mammal ear tag is a danger, and i cant find any useful information in any threads i find. people just go off suggesting this or cautioning that or debating these or those or offer some other useless response like if you tag a squirrel it makes it easier for predators to see or another useless comment. i ve been told to dye/color small patches on tail or underside so can be hidden from predators when hugging branches.. anybody out there know what they are doing and can help me out? i need to tag 20 but realize that a neon yellow cow ear tag on a tiny little squirrel ear just isnt going to work out great
