  • When you turn left and the lanes on the right side are separated with a solid white line but you need to turn rt ahead what lane do you use?

In my state you typically have to turn into the closest lane going in your direction, but the line stays solid and white up until my turn.

  • Will you run out of gas on 0 miles left?

That distance-to-empty indicator is a mathematical formula, which means it's a cheap computer's best guess. I've gone past the zero mark in various vehicles more than a few times (but only a few more), and I haven't run completely out yet. None of those vehicles were a Hyundai Accent, of course, but I'm sure you've got a little more than exactly 2 miles left in the tank.

Borrowing some gas from your lawnmower is a really good idea, though.

  • Is driving 20 miles 4 days a week for a job too much?

Best answer: a) Find out how much that commute will add to your car insurance. Your chance of being in an accident goes way up for that type of commuting. b) No car will get good mileage in heavy traffic. You will NOT average 25 mph. You will probably get closer to 20. c) If you spend an average of 1.5 hours or more per day... show more

    c) If you spend an average of 1.5 hours or more per day commuting, that is time you are not getting paid for. You'd probably be money ahead working a $15 an hour job that is 10-15 minutes away.

    d) It's time you can't spend constructively. Instead, it will be tiring and stressful, especially if you'll be working four tens, especially at night in rainy, crappy weather. You'll probably end up quitting eventually because of it, which won't look good on a resume.

    e) Don't forget that it puts more wear and tear on your car, increasing depreciation and maintenance costs.

    f) Or, consider moving closer to this job if you get it.

  • Dont u think there should be separate compartments for male and females in buses and trains as it s common problem of women being groped.?

Like rather than telling women to react and make noise etc, and telling men to be gentlemen why not keep separate spaces for both in buses etc. It can significantly reduce the issue. What do u think??

  • Would my car make it on a road trip?

It’s a 2004 Chevy impala with about 135K miles on it. Thinking about taking it for a trip that is 268 miles each way, so 536 miles round trip. It’s pretty well maintained. Should I trust it to make it there and back???

  • Do you need a great personality to work for Uber or Lyft?

I am quite shy and never talk. I also rarely smile so people think I am cold. Do you think I would be a good driver for Uber or Lyft?

  • $20 parking for 30 minutes? Rediculous!?

Best answer: I remember a TV interview with someone who worked at a McDonalds in central London. They said they found the job depressing because the parking meter outside earned more than they did.
