• I submitted my final research paper 3 days after it's due and I got a zero. My grade dropped from A+ to B. Is this fear? Is it my fault?

I sent him an email and he said that I'm 3 days late and he simply ignored my emails. I kept sending him emails and he simply ignored me. I got a zero for the paper and my grade dropped from A+ to B. What should I do? Is it my fault or his fault that I got a zero for that assignment? I think he is too harsh?

I am 19 years old and I’ve been in college for two semesters and I feel like it just isn’t for me. Long story short I’ve been going through some things in my personal life and all I want to be is happy. My happiness is my success and I don’t feel that college is my path, Luckily I’m attending junior college for free so I didn’t waste any money. I don’t have a plan right now but the way I look at it is that it’s okay to not know what you want to do or not be career oriented. Not everybody is meant to be an engineer, doctor, nurse or make six figures. I’m honestly okay with being average but anyway when I do apply for another job later do I have to put anywhere on my resume that I even attended college?

Best answer: It is very unlikely any High School student knows for certain what they want to be when they grow up. You should be taking a wide range of classes in High School to help expose you to all of the different subjects. When you graduate it should be clear what subjects you enjoy, which you dislike, what you are good at, and what you struggle with. From there you would ideally go on to further study a subject area that interests you and that you excel at.

Obviously there are some external factors that play into that decision such as "will I be able to find a good paying job after I graduate?" People may love art or cooking, but entering those fields one has to know and accept the high possibility of being unemployed and/or working very low unskilled labor jobs. There are few jobs that regularly travel around the world, but that doesn't stop you from being able to take international vacations. Likewise very few people are successful musicians, but most people enjoy music and some really enjoy playing instruments in their free time. You do not need to make a career out of those interests in order to partake in them.

Your career should be something you really enjoy doing and would look forward to doing every day, all day long. Align your interests to specific fields in the industry and investigate what opportunities are available there. Pick something that will hopefully pay fairly well and has a good long-term outlook. When you enter college you can declare a major that will help focus your education in that direction. If you later decide it's not for you, you can change it... but those adjustments should be minor. For example you want to work in a science field, focus in biology, and decided you really enjoy working in a lab. After a couple of additional courses you find out working in a lab is not what your expected, so you decide to focus on Pharmacology. Yes it's an adjustment, but it is not a major change that will cause years of retaking classes like would happen if you decided science or biology were not you for.

  • Do midwife’s travel?

Best answer: You are more likely to travel, at least around the county, if you are in a rural area. If you're in a city, you will likely be making house calls, at least in a given part of the city.

Best answer: Yes. Capitalism is a system that strives off of infinite growth. The planet cannot sustain this type of system. There is massive inequality in the country & the system only encourages it. Everyone is out for themselves, its like people have been turned into selfish predators, just trying to make it rich while not caring about anything else. Mental & physical illness is skyrocketting cause of how toxic of a society we have here, and how expensive everything is especially education. We used to live together as big families, bros & sisters, cousins & aunts, gndparents, even taking in others who dont have a family or home. That wasnt profitable so the "nuclear family" became the norm. The parents & child & white picket fence..If u break apart the family into smaller groups it becomes way more profitable. The system has destroyed community all for profit. Theres something wrong here, especially when many people are depressed or on antidepressants. Life is NOT supposed 2 b strssful like this.

Best answer: Only the admissions staff at BU knows the answer to your question.

    1. Any university CAN rescind an admissions offer if the student fails to meet or maintain the academic standard for admissions.
    2. Most universities will not rescind an admissions offer unless the situation is really serious. Six weeks out from the start of school, they may not have "better" wait-listed students who could fill your position.

The difficult but best thing you can do is to call the admissions office and find out.
