He does good in French and Spanish (he's wierd like that he take's both languages at the same time and never get's confused) and his writing teacher say's he writes good but he is so stupid when it comes to math. Serious. He studied like three days for his algebra test and still failed it. I was so mad I nearly tore apart the kitchen screaming at him. Boys are naturally good at math girl's are not. Math is logical it work's like the male mind girls like frilly stuff and not logic so they do not do as good at math cause it takes alot of logic and rational thought. How come the role's are reversed in my family. How come my son never does good in math but my daughter is a whiz. It makes no sense.

  • What is the best way to read something boring?

Best answer: I outline as I go, to get through dry material. It forces me to pay close enough attention to be able to summarize each paragraph in a few words. The writing gives me a short rest from the monotony and when I am done I can review the outline to gather a full understanding.

  • Did people use the internet in the 1970’s?

Best answer: The first uses of the internet by people at home were in the 1980s. There were a few services you could subscribe to. There was no World Wide Web, and no graphical browsers- everything was in text only. A great deal of older information has been uploaded to the internet since then.

Best answer: Implying there's any force in the world that can break the stranglehold that the Teacher's Union cartel has over public education in the US. We've thrown billions and billions at education, but the Union blocks progress at every turn. No incentives for teacher's doing a good job, no punishment for teachers doing bad jobs. No accountability for children not passing or not learning. Every single education reform has failed and the Teacher's Union remains standing tall.

This year I started studying medicine but something wrong is definitely happening to me . My parents are both doctors and the high-school I went to before put a lot of emphasis on sciences such as Biology and chemistry so everybody around me wanted to become a doctor . So then (in the high school) I thought "why not become a doctor too?" so here I am now , struggling to find any enjoyment in what I am studying and utterly failing . I find anatomy so boring .. at least I enjoy biochemistry but after a while I usually got bored of it too . Looking back , I feel that I haven't done the right choice . Everybody around me was very happy that I was going to study medicine and now I'm afraid to talk to my parents and tell them that I don't enjoy it . They supported me so much materially and psychologically that I would fell like a failure if i quit the university . My true passion is writing poetry and learning languages but with these you can't do anything in society (at least in my country ).I am more like the creative type of person who also likes history , philosophy and knowing things about different cultures . i always tell myself "today I am going to enjoy what I learn" but each time i feel absolutely miserable at the end of the day . what's really funny in a way is that I am one of the best students (at least at biochemistry ) even though I don't really enjoy it . What should i do ??? Please tell me an advice . Thank you !!!
