With today's high tuition and low minimum wage a summer job will not hardly make a dent in the tuition bill and will result in the need to take on massive student debt. I came up with one option. and it is to work a full time summer job and save up a few grand to and then plan to place a large four figure bet with the goal of winning enough to pay for college. Would blackjack, or craps be a good idea to potentially multiply the winnings into enough to pay for a year of schooling. I know that if I bet high I could get enough to pay for school, and if I lose i lost just a trifle in comparison to the astronomical cost of college today. Would it also be a good idea to buy a large number of Pick 5 lottery tickets to get a good chance up to 1:10 for like a 50k win if I won the pick 5 lottery. I know the chances are best if I buy tickets at once rather than one at a time.

Best answer: Me and my dog are having a few quiet games of pool and a few beers. He seems to balance better on his legs than I do on mine. I really gotta train him not to piss on the pool table leg.

Best answer: The only chance you have to consistently win is by playing poker. Start by playing just for fun, at fairly low level stakes, with money you can afford to lose. If you find you are consistently winning, try playing at higher levels. If you continue to win at the higher levels, take some of your winnings and put it in the bank.

If you keep winning at higher and higher stakes, keep putting some of the winnings into the bank.

When you are consistently winning twice as much as you make at your real job, AND you have at least six months of expenses saved in the bank, then you can think about becoming a professional gambler.

The odds that this will happen are incredibly small.

Best answer: First of all, we are talking at least $900M free and clear. That is life changing. So, take charge of your life like your new job is worth $900M.

If you have a spouse, make a pact not to spend more than $100,000 in living expenses for one year. That way you can transition and see what you want to do. More importantly, you will be getting a full-time accountant, full-time investment manager, a business lawyer and with that business lawyer make an LLC out of the money not spent on taxes the first year or the $100,000 you will live on next year.

Also put yourselves in for financial counseling and regular counseling. You can finally afford one, and your lives are going to drastically change.

I have a lifelong dream of public radio. I will make that happen. I will likely either buy a radio station outright, or I would build an awesome studio and start making syndicated shows out of it. I own a huge collection of music and I can have it right next to the studio in an adjacent room or storage.

My wife wants to live off the land more, so we can get a place on water and build a greenhouse for her, along with a tiny house for her alone and a 3 bedroom-2 bath for us both, both on the property. We might also plan on getting a line of coffee trucks out there to sell coffee against those people stuck in brick-and-mortar shacks.

I am also a fantasy football enthusiast. Putting $1000 down to play big stakes leagues won't be an issue any longer.
