• I am 21 male and only could do 15 push ups is that bad?

Best answer: It's not that bad. Most people can't do 15. Only jumping 14 inches is worse and running a mile in 7 minutes is slow but you can improve on all that. Some people can't even run a mile if they had all day.

Also, playing softball, your body adapts to the work ou give it. How much of your softball time are you moving around at your max heart rate(sweating, able to hold a convo, but winded) vs standing and how often you play softball. Switch things up....your body has adapted. I guarantee you if you alternate running and walking(basically run til u get winded then walk then run til u get winded than walk at fast pace, doing 5 miles each session for 5 days a week, EVERY week for 5 months, you will be thanking me in 3 months. Consistency is key. Then hit me up in 3 months and we'll do your new workout plan to keep your body guessing. I promise

We have a culture that offers us garbage, but then it turns on us for consuming the garbage that it creates.

  • Is fitness a way of life for you, or do you just go through the motions?

    Best answer: I wouldn't say it's a way of life :)

I used to exercise every day, haven't done so in years... getting back on track though. Two times a week now, if I start recovering faster, I will increase the amount of times a week :)

  • How to stop overeating?

Hi I’m a 14 year old girl trying to lose belly fat and I think most of the problem is that I overeat a lot. I need some help on what to cut out from my diet cause I feel bloated all the time. I run 2 miles a day and do some speed walking and abs workouts. Whenever I overeat should I just skip dinner?

My boyfriend is 20 and will not eat any fruit or veg, including things like most beans/pulses, avocados, sweet potatoes, and sweetcorn. I include these specifically because people have previously recommended these as "tasty" veg that may change his mind. Cooked, raw, roasted with a ton of BBQ seasoning, fried - he will not eat any. He is sometimes okay with things like onion but most often will pick them out too. His mum swears he used to eat them when he was a kid, and started refusing them in his early teens. I think it now is just a point of principle and he refuses to listen to any logic or reason. He has admitted that it´s due in part to stubbornness on his part because people always make a point of it. I understand some people just do not like certain things, that's fine. But it´s literally everything fruit or veg-related, even things that are fruit-flavoured. All he eats is meat, carbs, and generally really unhealthy processed/fast food whenever he can. I really am getting irritated with this. It´s awkward when we go out or if people cook for us, and he picks out every microscopic bit of vegetable. I also worry about his health, because certain medical conditions run in his family and overall he should really look after his health better. I have bought some vitamin C supplements which he takes every day, but I really don't think it´s enough. He is great in every other way and this is the only real "immature" habit he has. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Best answer: No, and you won't be knocking your head on trees and beams so often either, nor grazing yourself so badly when you fall; oh, and you'll be much less prone to leg ulcers after your mid-60's. You'll probably get quite competitive too, not wanting the giraffes to get away with it. All of these things... show more

  • Are you a grown adult who eats sugary sweets every day like a six year old would want to do?

Best answer: I'm an adult who has no sugary sweets at all.
However each day I do enjoy 3-5 different types of real fruit for breakfast, so it's a sugary treat in a way, albeit a healthy one.

It's just the way they're made. Others will be very slight and perfectly healthy at a certain age. Unsurprisingly build run in families. I grew up alongside girls who were like toothpicks until their mid to late 20s when they filled out. Their sisters were the same and when you looked at family pictures their moms and aunts were the same too. If you look like your female relatives at the same age as you are now I'd just let it go. If you're the odd one out and you eat like everyone around you perhaps it's time to see a nutritionist?
