• My neighbor just snow blew my driveway what is the proper neighborly course of action?

Im 28 he's mid to late 40s. Usually I actually enjoy doing it by hand but do to our crazy winters and my lack of a super-short short driveway i decided to buy a snowblower this year. I assume he thought I was just to busy with school to go out and shovel it, and didn't know I had a snow blower yet.

  • What washing machines are better; top loaders or front loaders?

Best answer: I have a front loader and I hate it. I have had it for three years. Unless you buy those expensive bases, you have to bend over to unload it and items get stuck to the top of the drum and are difficult to reach. I had a mold problem with my washer when I lived up in Minnesota. I am now in Tennessee and don't have that issue anymore, but I have read on Consumer Reports that a lot of people have complained about mold in their front load washers. I will buy a top load the next time I purchase a washer.

A small kid's knit glove was accidentally flushed down an upstairs toilet two weeks ago. All's been well so far. It's a 3-bathroom house, two toilets upstairs and one in a far storage room downstairs, not hooked up to water and never used. Now the never-used always-dry downstairs toilet is suddenly filling up in the bowl when the upstairs toilets are flushed, and it's leaking around where it's seated on the floor. Surprisingly as well, I looked at the PVC septic cap in the yard and it's unusually moist around the threads. Did a small child's glove create the problem? Or did cold North Georgia weather? Am I up against something else and more serious? Thanks for answers.

The reason they want us to wash it every day is because it is a sea food processing plant, and they don't want bacteria getting all over the place I guess.

Hello everyone. A few years back (2016) I purchased a house in a gated community in Pennsylvania. At purchase, no one told me anything was wrong. We had an inspector come check the property, there were no warnings of anything forth coming. Recently, the water heater in my house broke. The entire first floor was flooded. Right after, once we finally got all the water out, we had an inspector come back and he told us that the first floor is basically crawling with mold, and it will cost us 1000 s of dollars to fix. If we don t fix the problem in the next year or 2, the first floor will basically cave on itself. Now, even if we got the water heater replaced, this would not have changed the mold situation. My question is, should we be the ones held accountable for the mold situation in the first floor? I do not intend to resell this house with this horrible mold situation to other tenants, this is a serious hazard. But we don t have the money to get it replaced. My question is, since this problem wasnt disclosed to us and we basically signed my name to the house under false pretenses, is there anything I can do to get this taken care of by either the previous owner or the owner of the gated community? We would sew if we have to. Thank you for reading.

I just bought a bunch of cucumber seeds, just out of fun ! I started germinating the seeds using the wet tissue paper and plastic bags method, they grew just fine ( I don't have a germination system, I just kept them in a dark area and they did just fine) .. When the roots started growing bigger and stronger I transplanted them into containers, I kept the soil semi wet, made sure its not over wet. Watched some youtube videos to learn more on how to plant them properly. Few days later, I noticed that only 2 out of maybe 10 germinated seeds started growing leaves ! What did I do wrong there? I know I don't have a green house and some lights to keep everything warm and nice, can I still grow my other cucumber seeds without using all of that fancy stuff? Here is a picture of my germinated seeds! do I need to let them grow bigger before I transplant them?
