• Am I able to upgrade my thermostat?

Am I able to upgrade my thermostat?

This is the thermostat I currently have for my wall heater (see picture). Just wondering if it can be replaced with a digital one, like the programmable Honey Well brands? All wall heaters seem to have this basic manual type thermostat.

  • Do electric meters need access?

I am in process of designing and hiring and getting permits for a carport garage conversion. Meter and breaker box located behind a gate but not locked in a room. Remodel would make it in garage. Is that a issue? I am waiting for city and electricain to contact but just getting you're input. This is in AZ

  • My bedroom door opens by itself?

Best answer: Either adjust the strike plate or buy a doorstop. And stop ranting about ghosts. You're not 12 and t's not exactly rocket science.

  • Why my lights keep flickering or dimming.?

So in the past few days I’ve noticed the lights flicker a lot or dim dramatically then go back to normal over and over. Sometimes even a fan that’s on will turn off then you hear a buzz in the walls for 10-20 seconds then the fan comes back on, is this something to worry about?

  • Do you let your faucets drip in freezing temps?

Everyone I know in the south lets their faucets drip in freezing temps. But I've heard you're only suppose to do that if you have exposed pipes. My bf use to live up north and he said they've never done that. So which is it? Let them drip, don't have to, or are there other factors to consider?

The burners still work, but now the crack has spread and there's are pieces of glass falling out. Not sure what to do. I'll tell the LL but I assume he'll want us to pay for it, and that would suck. A normal stove with metal grilles never would have broken like that ..I hate fragile appliances, we didn't smash anything down on it. Anyhow does anyone have advice for this situation? Thank you.
