The dog is a 12 year old Boston terrier already has had one eye amputated and it seems his other eye is going blind. He belongs to my boyfriend's grandpa, before you say "mind your own business" I just want to know if it's possible he could still live a decent life and maybe try to convince his owner to let him live awhile longer just to see if he'll adjust to being blind or if it would just be better to put him down. Other than being blind the dog doesn't seem to have any other issues health wise. He is a farm dog and is often let out at night, we also have predators like coyotes around the area so if that makes a difference just putting that out there. Also curious as to if the vet would put the dog to sleep tomorrow when we take him to get examined to see for sure if he is totally blind or if they would make the owner schedule for the euthanasia.

  • Declaw my cat or give it away?

I’m stuck in a lease to where they require the cats to be declawed, of course I didn’t know this before I signed. I was informed of the fee, and pet capacity, but not this. I don’t really believe in declawing animals, should I declaw or just give them away?

  • How do I deal with parents who are blaming it on me that my puppy acted out when their daughter interrupted my training?

The young girl was about 12 or 13, old enough to know better. I warned them BEFOREHAND that I’m training so do not come up to my pup! Their daughter didn’t listen and gave my dog a big hug as I was telling her NO. My puppy reacted aggressively out of fear. These parents are trying to convince me that they’ll sue... show more

No damage is being done to their child, just a big scare. The girl started crying and saying it’s not her fault. Her parents are only buying what she said, which isn’t the full story either. I’m not going to get involved with it at all now.

My sister’s Yorkshire terrier was killed by a Rottweiler. This happened on a random street. My sister’s yorkie was not on a leash, the Rottweiler was on a leash. I guess my sister’s dog approached the Rottweiler in an aggressive manner, my sister tried to call her dog away and the owner of the Rottweiler was trying to pull his dog away but my sister’s dog just kept pushing it. The Rottweiler bit down once and the dog was dead. Animal control says the Rottweiler’s owner is not at fault and does not have to pay for any damages because his dog was leashed and defended himself. They say the only person in the wrong here is my sister because her dog was not on a leash. I know my sister’s dog is very aggressive towards other dogs, she knew better and should have had her dog leashed. My question is what happens from here?

My mum got a dog even after i continued to tell her not to and that i didn t want a dog. I tried to put up with the dog for her but i am just sick of it! I can t stand the smell of dog, and it is especially worse since I have SPD, now the house always smells like dog and I feel as if the floor is always dirty. I have taken this issue to my Mum so she tried a bunch of new soaps and they all smell bad! I don t feel comfitable walking into my own home anymore. Whenever anyone comes into the house she goes ballistic and won t stop growling, and unless she is near someone she won t stop barking and whining and it gets on my nerves. Every few days I have an SPD overload, or anxiety attack about the issue in my room but i hide it. I want things to go back to how they used to before we had the dog but i feel really bad about approaching the issue to my Mum as she loves the dog and I don t want her to get mad at me. I also feel bad for the dog for getting rid of it. I do like the dog, but i don t know if is worth or the stress and anxiety i get constantly about it. I don t know what to do.

  • What breed is my dog? I need help identifying it please.?

What breed is my dog? I need help identifying it please.?

Best answer: It's not any breed. It's a mixed breed dog. If you are looking after this dog for someone, I think you should ask that person if they know what mix their dog is. Maybe they know, or maybe they don't know either. If they don't know, then it's just a mix of unknown origin. (mongrel)
