My aunt (52) and I (19) will be taking our first long distance road trip next month. We'll be traveling from the Orlando area all the way to Los Angeles where we'll be staying a for a few nights before going south to San Diego. We plan on taking our time getting out there and not pushing a drive longer than 8 hours which shouldn't be no problem if we both put in hours. Her boyfriend will be flying in to L.A and will help us drive back which is a great help. I just want to know if there is any part of I-10 that is sketchy or dangerous. You hear stories about late night travelers getting carjacked or what not but from what I've read so far, it doesn't seem to sound true. Most people just say to stay on the roads and it's usually pretty safe. We know to keep the car fueled. But I do know cell service is limited in certain parts and gas stations might be spaced out a bit. Is there any stretches of road that we need to be aware of or warned about? I tend to be a little paranoid, especially in desolate areas. But this will be my first time where I'm literally in the middle of nowhere. With that aside, is there any small little places worth stopping for that aren't on the map? My aunt loves those and I'm not sure if we'll ever get to do this again for awhile so I wanna pack as much as I can in this trip. Any long road trip travel tips? Like what to bring for the car ride that will make me comfortable? Thanks!

    Best answer: Hello,

Palestinians are taught hatred of Jews / Israel, by their education system.

The Palestinians attached to the land of Israel - Really? - They tried to take Jordan by force in 1970-71, and tried to take Lebanon by force in 1975.

Also, that "Palestinian" flag - identical to the Jordanian flag, save for a removed star.

Whereas there is no evidence that Israel has any policy of targeting / mistreating civilians, due to anti-Jewish ethnic-hatred and territorial ambitions the Palestinians seek to ethnically-cleanse (or murder) the Jewish People from the Jewish People's ancestral homeland of Israel, and target Israeli Jewish civilians as policy including children.

Israel's defence forces defend only when attacked, defending Israel's citizens (including Muslims) against Palestinian terrorism, taking steps no different to that which any other country would take to attempt to protect their citizens from attack, and while exercising necessary restraint in the face of hate-filled Palestinian young people / children.

The real reason why Palestinian young people / children have such hatred that they typically display, is that due to ethnic-hatred of Jewish people and also territorial ambitions, the Palestinian education system in the Palestinian Territories practices mind-abuse; teaching hatred as shown below.

As a result, Palestinian young people / children are consumed with hatred against Israel and in particular Jewish people:
    Example:
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/01/ahed-tamimi-palestinian-girl-filmed-slapping-israeli-soldier-is-charged-with-assault

Palestinian ethnic-hatred of Jewish people has not changed since the Palestinian support of the Nazis in the second world war. Due to ethnic-hatred of Jewish people and also territorial ambitions, the Palestinian education system in the Palestinian Territories practices mind-abuse, teaching:
    > Hatred of Jewish people,
    > a false victim-mentality,
    > that Israel does not exist (aka the Palestinian claim over ALL the land);
    > and similar to the propaganda of Nazi Germany, that the Jew / Israel is the (fake) cause of all Palestinian alleged issues:

    Post from Mark L. Levinson:

Here is part of a report [“PA Education Report for Teachers Union 210715”] from Palestinian Media Watch:
    http://www.palwatch.org/STORAGE/special%20reports/PA%20Education%20Report%20for%20Teachers%20Union%20210715.pdf

Fighting Israel until liberation is a religious battle for Islam

The PA [Palestinian Authority] schoolbooks present fighting against Israel as mandatory in the name of Islam. The books teach that the conflict with Israel is “Ribat for Allah” which is defined as “one of the actions related to Jihad for Allah, and it means: Being found in areas where there is a struggle between Muslims and their enemies.” [Islamic Education, grade 12, p. 86].
Israel cannot be recognized in peace because it is said to exist on Islamic land. The conflict with Israel is described as “one of the greatest of the Ribat, and they [Palestinians] are worthy of a great reward from Allah”. [Ibid, pp.86- 87.]
Finally, the children are taught that they can never make peace with Israel, as this battle is eternal: “The residents of Al-Shaam in general, and Palestine in particular, are in Ribat until Resurrection Day.” [Islamic Education, Grade 12, p. 87.]

This religious directive to fight Israel is also expressed in a schoolbook published by the PA Ministry of Religious Affairs. This excerpt also demonizes Jews by calling them “the robbing Jews”:

“Today the Muslim countries urgently need Jihad and Jihad fighters in order to liberate the robbed lands and to get rid of the robbing Jews from the robbed lands in Palestine and in the Levant” [Religious Issues, Grade 8 ,p. 12, no date, issued by the Ministry of Religious and WAQF Affairs of the Palestinian Authority, translated by Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education]

Accordingly, Palestinian violence against Israel since Israel’s founding in 1948 is defined as: “resistance ... acts of most glorious heroism.” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Commentary, Grade 12 p. 105]

    Terminology of Disdain

The terminology and lessons regarding Israel that PA educators have chosen to include in the schoolbooks reinforce the message that youth should not accept Israel as a neighbor with a right to exist. The following are examples of phrases describing Israel:

    • ”The Zionist enemy;” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, Grade 12, p. 122]

    • ”The Zionist entity;” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, Grade 12, p. 104]

    • ”The enemy of this people;” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, Grade 12, p. 17]

    • ”The Zionist gangs;” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, Grade 12, p. 104]

    • ”Zionist Imperialist plan.” [Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, Grade 12, p. 103]

    • ”Your enemies killed your children, split open your women’s bellies, held your revered elderly men by the beard, and led them to the death pits.” [Reading and Texts, Grade 8, Part 2, [2003] (reprinted 2007), p. 16, translated by Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education]

    • ”By your life! How is it that snakes invade us and we [still] observe a protection covenant [dhimma] which respects commitments?” [Arabic Language—Linguistic Sciences, Grade 12, (2010), p.61, translated by Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education]

A world without Israel - Israel does not exist at all

Aside from the hate and violence promotion and the denial of Israel’s right to exist, the schoolbooks already present a world in which Israel does not exist. “Palestine” today is said to be a “state” (Arabic – “Dawla” = state) with water access in both the Mediterranean and the Red Seas, a situation possible only if Israel does not exist. [Physical Geography and Human Geography, Grade 12, p. 105]
Likewise, the size of the “state” of “Palestine” is said to be more than 10,000 sq. km., which is the figure for the area only if Israel does not exist, as the full West Bank and Gaza Strip total only 6220 sq. km. [Physical Geography and Human Geography, Grade 12, p. 107]
Since “Palestine” is defined as encompassing all of Israel, the implicit promise is that Israel eventually will no longer exist: “Palestine will be liberated by its men, its women, its young, and its elderly” [Arabic Language and the Science of Language, Grade 12, p. 44].

Palestinians are taught similar to Nazi Germany, that the Jew / Israel is the fake cause of all Palestinian alleged issues, for example:
The Palestinians have a problem of child sexual abuse, while deceiving the world it is all Israeli's fault for causing Palestinians “stress” by Israel deploying an economic-blockade – a blockade due to Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel.

The Palestinian Education Authority in the Palestinian Territories teaches Holocaust-Denial and admiration of the Nazis:

The “Palestinian National Charter” seeks the expulsion of the Jewish People from the Jews ancestral homeland of Israel:
