• Is it daft to travel 40 mins to get food?

There is this street food place that does steak and chips. It looks amazing and I've been wanting to try it out for a while. The only thing is i have to travel 40 mins on public transport to get there. Is it daft to travel all that way just for that?

  • Besides India, what are some other countries which have a reputation for not being safe for solo female travelers?

Or even when people share their stories of traveling alone in India, they often mention special precautions to minimize attention or harassment. I rarely, if ever, see other countries get singled out as unsafe for female travelers, or with so many special precautions. Is India really uniquely this bad, much worse than anywhere else in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America? If not, what are some other countries where a woman would have to take special precautions if she plans on traveling alone there?

  • Can I bring my juul to Europe on a plane if I’m underage?

First, if you’re just going to give me a judgemental comment then leave. Okay so I’m 17 and I’m going on a school trip to Europe. If I put my juul and pods in my carry on, will TSA take it out and question me? If they do then I could get into big trouble with the teachers and my parents and probably even get sent... show more

But at this point I’m addicted to nicotine and can’t go that long without it. Do you think it’ll be a problem?

  • Which is better : a soft-shell suitcase or hard-shell suitcase?

Best answer: Soft. Hard suitcases have no way to expand as you pack them. Soft ones do. So you can cram more things into the soft bags than in the hard one. [See source.]

Of course you have to ensure you don't pack breakable items into the soft bags. For that I use the carry on bag.

Problem is I don’t think is a good idea to bring USA money into different countries because I may give them more money then the actual cost is. So how do you exchange USA money to different country money, or how does all this process work? Do they even accept debit or credit cards from the USA bank? Sorry for being very ignorant, like I said never traveled before. Thanks!

I just graduated, and I’m going on a summer road trip with my friends next month. But all the hotels I have looked into, require us to be either 18 or 21. How can we get past this? Is there some kind of form our parents can sign?

Hi everyone, I'm in my twenties female post-secondary student. I love to travel to different countries, attending cruises, and boats. I've never been on a cruise or boat but I would love to. On the other hand, my mother doesn't like to travel and wants to stay in same place (her house and her city) without roaming to other countries because she says that it's not a big deal and its the same experience of looking at water, building, and other malls. I honestly disagree with my mother because travelling opens my eyes about myself and I love going to different places and being exposed to different cultures. Do I need to get rid of the travelling aspirations or not? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
