• Why do people say soundbars jump between being too quiet and too loud a lot of the time?

Soundbars and soundbases typically have a far higher dynamic range than standard TV loudspeakers but most have a “late evening”
or “quiet mode” setting which reduces the dynamic range to a less extreme sound. Even without that mode, most can be manually adjusted to achieve a similar effect.

The only cables, which were connected before, is a white and red cable. There are many ports on the back of the RCA TV...so where do I plug them in? My grandpa insists that he want some kind if wireless speaker option because he can't hear the tv without a speaker right next to him. I was wondering if a bluetooth transmitter would work and all I have to do is find a bluetooths speaker that is wall powered and set it on his end table next to his chair.

It has the two speaker gauge wire outputs that you plug into like a home theater setup or something, and i believe the speaker is meant to be plugged into a car, but i dont want that. I have an onkyo TX-SR604 receiver. this receiver does not have the gauge wire output for a sub, but it does for regular speakers. For a sub, it was the purple pre out plug. I was wondering what i can do in order to use this woofer with this receiver, or if I would need an amp or something in order to use it. Thanks.

I am considering putting some speakers in my living room for audio that could be connected via chromecast audio. Is it better to go with a Bluetooth speaker with an aux in or computer speakers? Any pitfalls with either?

I use it with my computer, my dual 1019 record player that I fixed up also from freecycle, and a pioneer ct-f2121 deck. I so far have only put about $150 in to this hobby as I am a student who is going to college for audio engineering and mixing, I have my krk rp5g2s already for serious mixing and making beats, but I also wanted to get in to consumer stuff a bit as I never really had a nicer consumer setup as my generation seems to care more about beats pills and hamburger bluetooth speakers now a days
