  • Why do I keep getting irrelevant ads on YouTube?

Look, I'm just a humble goblin living in his mancave. I'm not very active, and I keep away from Fortnite (forgive me for mentioning). Look, I'm just a humble goblin living in his mancave. I'm not very active, and I keep away from Fortnite (forgive me for mentioning). So why do I keep getting ads from Dick's Sporting Goods and Fortnite? Every time I see one, I click the little "why am I seeing this ad" button and opt out of seeing it, but it just shows up again within the hour. I have a brother who is very into these things. The only reason I've come up with is that Internet usage goes to the whole house - what one person does can transfer to everyone else. I believe this because my search bar suggests Lowes with the little clock icon, as if I searched for Lowes at one point, but I never have. Sure, I did get Fortnite because I thought it had promise (was I wrong!). I did let my brother play it on my computer since his computer couldn't run it, but now that he upgraded his PC, I haven't had the patience to uninstall the game. So what's the deal?

  • Can your computer get hacked if remote access id disabled?

This is asked out of curiosity as opposed to concern. But if you disabled remote access, don t unintentionally download scam antivirus, would you say it is close to impossible for a computer to get hacked assuming you have a good antivirus and Malware-bytes?

  • What are certain pieces of information that should never be given to other people like your pin number?

Best answer: Just never give anyone any information of yours. They don't need it. If they say they do, have them PROVE it, not just say "oh your account is in trouble!!" If it seems something legit, have them give you some of your own info that's not easily googled.

I have a gas gift card and want to use it to get free gas so I figured maybe the mag stripe could be reprogrammed but that would be too tricky near impossible. Is there a way to get the pay at pump machine to be tricked into thinking I paid

  • How are hackers able to steal data if it has been encrypted?

When I read about instances where hackers were able to breach security and steal sensitive information from servers such as credit card numbers or classified information, it really has me wondering: Why wasn't this data encrypted in the first place so that it would have been completely useless without the key?
