My prescriptions are all in my name in proper bottles, and of course I have my ID on me to match. I take medication for my bipolar and anxiety, I have birth control as well. I need my medications daily and have been taking them since I was 12. So obviously I have no heavy narcotics on me, I do not drink or do drugs, would police try and take my medications if they stopped me and I told them I have my prescriptions on me?

Best answer: In what country or state? As you couldn't be bothered to say, this is what it's like in the UK.

It's just tolerable and very boring. Which is why everyone wants a job - at least it gets you out of your cell during the day as well as earning you some money to buy a few little extras from the canteen. Games consoles are allowed IF your behaviour is good enough to be allowed one under the Incentives and Earned Privileges scheme AND you buy your own from an approved mail order supplier. It must not have online access. And this is allowed basically because it helps to stop prisoners getting even more bored and rioting. Hamburgers - definitely not. You eat what you're given, which is very cheap. There is a choice of menu, but that is basically to cater for vegetarians, vegans and Muslims and make sure they don't complain.

You're locked in most of the time except for work, to collect meals and an hour's "association" every day (longer in a low security prison - expect "bang-up" for the night to be 7-8 pm in one of those). There is TV in the cells with a very limited choice of channels, which you pay rent for - again this is provided to help prevent boredom. And that's about it - it's dull, dull, dull, and that's the punishment.

It helps not to smoke. British prisons are going entirely non-smoking.

  • With all of the recent occurrences of white people calling the police on black people, why are white people so afraid of black people?

Best answer: I thought people called the police when there is an emergency involving crime. I didn't know it was generational sun tan, how bizarre.

Well, my grandmother's court appointed guardian/social worker found out about this and filed a police report and is saying she's going to prosecute my sister. Now I know my sister shouldn't have done this but I don't want her in trouble. She's saying she's going to get video footage of my sister taking the money. Is this possible? Even though we live in different states?

  • My bf is going to miss his court date coming up. He will have a warrant. Can the landlord let them in if the tenant's don't open the door?

I'm not going to be home when the cops come. I know for a fact his mom and him won't open the door when they come? Can the cops break the door down? Its a misdemeanor warrant for shop lifting.

  • I keep catching the same homeless man shitting on my lawn, do I shoot him?

Best answer: Take photos or better yet videos of him dumping in your front yard. Go to the cops and ask them to arrest him for trespassing, indecent exposure, and whatever else you can think of. As he's dumping in your yard I assume his crash site is close by. So the cops ought to be able to find him.

Make sure you get the "Protected by" sign that goes with the system as that sign does as much to deter burglars as the system itself does. [I have this system in both of my houses.]

Get LEDs for light bulbs for outside lights (e.g., porch lights). And leave those on all night. LEDs are cheap to operate; so you won't run up a big bill leaving them on. And the LEDs will last for up to 10 years without burning out. [I've done this.]

Buy and keep a gun. Nothing fancy; a Smith and Wesson Model 60 revolver will do. You can buy them online at Buds Gun Shop [https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php] Have it sent to your nearest Federally Licensed Dealer who will get it registered for you. Then take the NRA gun safety course and fire off a few rounds at your nearest shooting range. [I've done this.]

I just had a run-in with the Culver City Red light system. I was on Overland Avenue trying to make a left onto Washington Blvd. There was one car in front of me and I was mostly though the intersection (my back tires were still in the crosswalk). When the light turned red, the car in front of my finally moved and when I moved, the Red light camera went off. I was already in the intersection when the light was green but could not move because the car in front of me would not move because of oncoming traffic and was hesitant to do so when the lights turned yellow fearing that someone would still run it. Will I be getting a ticket/citation for this and if so, will I be able to fight it successfully?

Best answer: If he didn't ticket you then and there, the odds are remote that anything will happen. But this is a lesson. You cannot safely mimic what the vehicle in front of you is doing. You should not follow so closely you can't see potential hazards, traffic lights, or pedestrians for yourself. You cannot drive in low-light conditions at a speed that doesn't let you see pedestrians until it's too late.

Think about this situation a second. How many feet ahead or behind where they actually were would the pedestrians have to have been for this to have become a tragedy?
