It depends on various factors.
To give very simple example. When you were 4 years old, then our mom and dad told you that you came from sun, and the rain is your dead realtives, you would beleive all that, since you basically trust your parents and have no other competing information.
Now later in your age, same sitaution becomes wit hnew things. When ever you start leasringn of something new, your board is blank on that stuff. Then all the time you learn new, you add it to your board.
So basically if i start telling you about marketing and tell you how much better are newspaper ads than tv ads or internet ads, and even have some proof to show for it, you would believe me, and it would take better much better arguments from the next guy than i neeed to prove it otherwise even he might be right.
So basically when you are going to read that book, you are facing kind of empty board sitaution. He is going to speak you loads of proofs for hes own theory, and therre is no one but you, with your possibly very little knowledge on how to defend around to defend. So it can result in you becoming atheist, since obvoisuly richard dawkins isnt one of the stupidest guys walking on earth, but he is very brilliant man, even in my opinion he have become to wrong conclusion.
Its bit same as if some jehowahs witness comes to door. They have been taught so well where to strike, that they can beat on bible debate even pentacostal pastors that have been pastors for 10 years.
Yet then comes this guy who have examined Jehowahs wintessess statements and facts more closely, and can beat those witnessess 10-0.
So basically i would say, read that book, since you become more informed that way, if you are interested in it, but also watch for example www.drdino.com - downloads section of creationism point of view. He has 7 video seminar there, but just watching evn first one of them already gives you some idea that there is real scientific evidence against Richard Dawkins arguments and also shows the weak points of Dawkins theories.
