Is Malaysia worth visiting as a family?

How expensive is KL compared to London? What good things can you see/do there? How much spending money would be needed for 10 days in KL. Also how much does a taxi cost for 5 people and large luggages 30kg each to City centre

With the Malaysian Ringgit devaluing, it is a great time to visit Malaysia. As for things to do and see, it depends on your interests.

Malaysia has a number of beaches in different places such as in Langkawi, Penang, Redang, Tioman and Perhendian. If you want to only stay in KL (Kuala Lumpur), you can check out Petronas Tower. There is a Chinatown you can visit. You can visit Sunway Lagoon. Also check out to see other places as what you do will have to be age appropriate and geared to your interests.

there is only one important thing that you should be ok with it and that is the weather in Malaysia, if you are ok with hot and humid weather so for sure you should go there.

as a malaysian living in KL, it's considered pretty expensive.

but if you're from the uk, which the currency is 6 times higher than our currency, it's considered cheap.

for example, a plate of mixed rice which is rm5 (equivalent to 0.82 pounds).

it depends on your preferences. if you're a foodie, the best state to visit is Pulau Pinang, it's the food paradise.

p/s: im sorry idk about the taxi part, i rarely sit taxi.
