If you're using a mobile device, make sure its in desktop mode as the other member mentioned in her answer. I'm sure you tried refreshing the page also.
If this happens with *every* question either try another browser and/or clean cookies and cache. Don't forget to log off and back on again. If this only happened with one question, keep reading.
This happened to me also. I was not on a mobile device. I looked at the question earlier and still had the tab open because I planned to answer it. When I refreshed the screen, I got the Yahoo message saying "they would be right back and their engineers were working on the problem." No matter how many times I refreshed the screen, the only thing I could view was the question and number of answers, just like you've described.
I tried the url on dif browsers and no luck. I wasn't able to locate the question on the forum. The question was prob moved to another forum because the one I saw it posted on, was not relevant. Either the member who asked the question moved it or a helpful level 7 member did. If the question you are talking about was on the right forum it may have been moved by a level 7 troll. However, the url should still work even if the question was moved to another forum. I think the url was changed during the glitch. Its also possible it was flagged and deleted, but if that happened you should get yahoo's home page and not what you are describing.
If you recall the exact name of the question, you could try asking Google or another search engine. It doesn't always work. You could also try pulling up a cache copy using the url but it did not work for me.
Other than that, its just another one of those mysterious and erratic yahoo glitches.
