Wow. Give the cons a challenge they can't answer, and one gives you total gibberish, while the other five out of seven insult you. I am a gun owner (though not a gun nut) and I do see the purpose in the Second Amendment when it comes to protecting ourselves and our loved ones -- though we don't need assault rifles, huge magazines, or bump stocks.
OTOH, when children are slaughtered in their classrooms and we do nothing, the entire world is looking at us thinking: “What a sh**hole country.”
ALL of us, liberal and conservative, should be thinking hard about what we can do to possibly cut down on these shootings. My liberal state is making some headway. They've made it so there is only one way into the school and you have to be checked in as a visitor. They didn't say but it looked like bullet-proof glass between visitor and clerk (they showed a prototype school on the news).
They also installed floor-to-ceiling white board panels that hang/slide on a track so the teacher can lock the door and pull all the boards across the windows to block all visibility into the classroom in the event of an emergency.
And have you ever noticed that those who say the killer was insane time and again vote for Republicans which is a vote against universal health care with mental coverage? That is definitely something we need. But no, the Republicans just robbed the poor to give to the rich once again.
