That is weather. You may not like it, but you have to endure it. Aren't you glad you have fossil fuel powered air conditioning? It may be saving your life.
My parents survived the dirty thirties here in the US without AC. Of course they were hardy people. They were able to survive extreme cold and extreme hot. They didn't whine and cry, they endured. History has it, until Jimmy Hansen changed it, that the dirty thirties were the hottest years in the US. Upon that the US was going through an extreme recession.
As a farm boy I spent many a day out in the sun on well over 100 degree days during harvest season. We wore straw hats. That was because the straw hat could breathe and dissipate the heat given off the head. The head is where your body gives off the most heat. It is important to keep a cool head, so to speak. My son has a condition that is hereditary from his mother's side whereas the pores on his head do not function properly and this causes a lot of problems. Very dangerous problems. In fact, his cousin almost died several times and had to go to the hospital due to this condition. Fortunately, my son's condition wasn't as severe and we recognize it so we don't let him get overheated. When we lived in California we didn't have AC. So this gave us an excuse to go up in the mountains and fish or pan for gold during those times. (How do you like that for therapy?) Slipping over the hill to Santa Cruz and going surfing was another way.
There are many ways to keep cool without air conditioning, but it is essential to keep the head cool. One method that I found to cool myself when at home was to just get a pan of water with some ice in it. Put your feet in it. Your blood circulation will cool all your body. You can do this same thing at the beach. Just put your feet in the water.
As to those people in China, it shows that Communism doesn't solve problems. All they would need to save lives is to educate people. Communism relies on ignorance of the masses. And apparently these people are too ignorant to get out of the sun. Wearing a straw hat will only help, but it won't make you totally immune.
I've worked out on the factory floor where my computer shut down due to heat. It was in a metal casting operation. We stuck the computer in the freezer portion of a refrigerator until it revived. It wasn't comfortable but we endured.
So do what you can to stay alive. Remember, people have survived under worse conditions than these. And governments can't change the weather so don't rely on them. The best helping hand you can get in tis case is the one on the end of your arm.
