Is the term "ping-pong" racially insensitive?

ping pong comes from the formal name of the game in Chinese, 乒乓波, and should not have any racial connotations.

No, it's onomatopoetic. Meaning it comes from the sound of the game itself.

Searching the Web for "ping pong racial," I find that someone has decided to make it an insult against Chinese people, because the game is popular in China.
