Why are people in Arlington more snobby than Dallas natives?

I have not noticed that, but Arlington is still a suburb in many ways albeit a very large one at around 400,000 people. Compared to Dallas, you have a higher percentage of home ownership and while it is ethnically very diverse, you have a very high percentage of the population in the upper middle income demographic. That may be the biases you are sensing.

The simple answer is that Dallas natives have absolutely nothing to be snobby about.
