I can not identify what type of bite this is nor what type of bug bit me? Please help! ?

    If it itches, it might be a mosquito bite.  I get infected pores from time to time that itch a bit so it has to itch quite a bit.  Fleas usually get you on the ankles above the sock.  Bed bugs usually bite in a row.

    After the fact, nobody can. There is an expensive test to check for venom.

    A dermatologist is best for this.

    Frankly, it looks like a çommon staph infection or infected pore.

    Had those myself.

    It may not even be a bite. It could be just an infected hair follicle.

    Impossible to tell from that photo alone. 

    It’s not even worth making guesses, as we don’t know where in the world you are, where you were when you were bitten, and there’s nothing to show any scale to the photo.

    But if you insist upon a guess then the two most common causes worldwide would be either a flea or a mosquito/midge bite. But it could even just be an immune system response to a tiny irritant plant fibre or an insect hair which has been driven into the skin.
